At a bonfire marking the 2 year anniversary of the death of Pope John Paul II, witnesses say a fiery image of the Pope threw "the finger" at them. The image, said by believers to show the Holy Father with his right hand raised flipping them the bird, was spotted during the a service at Beskid Zywiecki, close to John Paul's birthplace at Katowice, southern Poland, on April 2 - the second anniversary of his death.
A Vatican insider close to the Pope, who wishes to remain anonymous, told reporters: "This is the Pope giving the crowd a big "FUCK YOU" for not listening to him on the Iraq War. This proves life after death beyond a doubt. Pope John Paul has told me that he has been talking to God, and God is pissed off that the Bush administration used his name to start the Iraq War. He said that he was trying to get this message across, in things like Eggo brand frozen waffles and on garage doors, but nothing gets the point across like a 'fiery apparition'."
