Onward Christian (and Israeli) Soldiers

Is this why Bishop Martino loves the GOP and ignores GOP torturing people and the GOP wars? And only talks about Bobby Casey-D and condoms and contraception and genitalia?

The military is denying it allows its soldiers to proselytize to Afghans, following the release of footage showing US soldiers in Afghanistan discussing how to distribute Bibles translated into Pashto and Dari. We speak to Air Force veteran and former Reagan administration counsel Mikey Weinstein, founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, and journalist Jeff Sharlet, author of a Harper’s Magazine article on “The Crusade for a Christian Military.”

The Bush administration was well aware that torture doesn't work and is illegal. That is why they had the "Bush 6" lawyers trying to rewrite the torture policy, so they wouldn't be prosecuted. The Bush administration used torture to obtain FALSE CONFESSIONS linking 9/11 to Iraq/Sadaam Hussein, and they had planned to attack Iraq well before 9/11.

CAIRO — In a new embarrassment to the Bush administration, an FBI
probe indicated that detainees at the notorious Guantanamo detention
camp were “baptized” and wrapped in Israeli flags, the Washington Post
reported on Wednesday, January 3.

The FBI, under the Freedom of Information Act, released its report on abuses against Muslim prisoners at Guantanamo. These include having a guard dress as a priest and baptize them, wrapping them in Israeli flags, having women guards touch them while they were praying so they'd be unclean, pouring urine on the Koran and duct taping the face of a prisoner so he couldn't recite the Koran.

I'm the Torturer (Bush)

Sadistic, Un-American FUCKS!

The Bush administration took us down the path of Nazi Germany or Stalin's Soviet Union: torture people! Tea-Baggers and religious false prophets (who are worried about contraception) remain silent about this and Big Govt spying on American's phone calls. I'm not the least bit religious, and I have higher standards, I don't go for the 2nd grader defense of "He hit me first!". This is not what America stands for. It's what Bush, Cheney, the Bush administration, and Republicans stand for. And now Obama stands for by not prosecuting them. Un-American torturers. the "BUSH SIX" TORTURE TEAM re-wrote the torture laws because they knew they would be prosecuted! We turned into a 3rd world banana republic under the Bush administration. Everyone who remains silent and/or ignores this, is Un-American. This isn't the America I grew up in, torturing people. It's the America we have now, after 8 years of Bush/Cheney. Morally corrupt. I'm calling out everyone who remains silent on this as being morally corrupt. And that means YOU! The "good Germans".

Read the torture memos, and see the SICK minds that were running this country under the Bush administration. One of these guys is now a federal judge! Maybe one of your relatives or friends will stand trial under this sicko!

More from Scott Horton:

If the president releases the Bush torture memos, Republicans are promising to “go nuclear” and filibuster his legal appointments. Scott Horton reports on a serious threat to Obama’s transparency.

The principle author of the "Torture Memos", Jay Bybee, is now a FEDERAL JUDGE!!!

Just like the Nazi's: "We were only following orders" - that didn't fly at the Nuremberg trials. See my post from yesterday, maybe they got something on Obama with all these wiretaps:

Hitler/Stalin's Un-American FOX "news" defends the Bush administration's use of TORTURE!!! Apparently, the entire civilized world is against TORTURE...except for FOX "news", the Bush administration, and the Republicans. FOX makes the straw man argument, to defend "their guys", that torturing prisoners is the reason why we haven't been attacked since 9/11. First of all, as you know, I don't go for this argument anyway because I don't believe the govt's story on 9/11. Second, I believe we're not torturing the real culprits. Third, I think there could be another false flag staged, so they can say: "See? We need to torture people!" Let's really make sure, and re-investigate 9/11, how about it, FOX?

Music To Torture By

Rage Against the Machine ... protesting against Guantanamo Bay at the Reading festival.

Musicians don't want tunes used for torture

U.S. military interrogators have often blasted music at detainees in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay. According to the British law group Reprieve, these are among the songs they have used most frequently:

• "Enter Sandman," Metallica.
• "Bodies," Drowning Pool.
• "Shoot to Thrill," AC/DC.
• "Hell's Bells," AC/DC.
• "I Love You," from the "Barney and Friends" children's TV show.
• "Born in the USA," Bruce Springsteen.
• "Babylon," David Gray.
• "White America," Eminem.
• "Sesame Street," theme song from the children's TV show.

British human rights group Reprieve has launched a new anti-music torture initiative, Zero dB.

The Bush Administration Tortured In Our Name

If you watch these two films "Taxi To The Dark Side" and "Torturing Democracy", you will call for the entire Bush administration to be thrown in fucking jail!!!

Over One Hundred prisoners have died in suspicious circumstances in U.S. custody during the war on terror. "Taxi to the Dark Side" takes an in-depth look at one case: an Afghan taxi driver called Dilawar who was considered an honest and kind man by the people of his rustic village. So when he was detained by the U.S military one afternoon, after picking up three passengers, denizens wondered why. Why was this man randomly chosen to be held in prison, and, especially, without trial? Five days after his arrest, Dilawar mysteriously died in his Bagram prison cell. His death came within a week of another mysterious death of a detainee at Bagram. The conclusion, with autopsy evidence, was that the former taxi driver and the detainee who passed away before him, had died due to sustained injuries inflicted at the prison by U.S. soldiers.

The documentary, by award-winning producer Alex Gibney ("ENRON: The Smartest Guys in the Room"), carefully develops the last weeks of Dilawar's life and shows how decisions taken at the pinnacle of power in the Bush Administration led directly to Dilawar's brutal death showing how Rumsfeld, together with the White House legal team, were able to convince congress to approve the use of torture against Prisoners of War.

This is the definitive exploration of the introduction of torture as an interrogation technique in U.S. facilities, and the role played by key figures of the Bush Administration in the process.
