Big Dan's Big News Mar 23, 2008

Hillary can't win, and the media isn't telling us that...why?

One big fact has largely been lost in the recent coverage of the Democratic presidential race: Hillary Rodham Clinton has virtually no chance of winning. Her own campaign acknowledges there is no way that she will finish ahead in pledged delegates. That means the only way she wins is if Democratic superdelegates are ready to risk a backlash of historic proportions from the party’s most reliable constituency.

So, it's "OK"...what a bunch of hypocrites! You won't hear a WORD about this from "conservative" talk show hosts or Republican voters! GOP: The party of "BIG GOVERNMENT"! Republican voters are BRAINDEAD IDIOTS who don't hold their own party accountable for anything! Everything they do is "OK"!) Unknown to most new parents, or those who became parents in the last ten or so years, DNA of newborns has been harvested, tested, stored and experimented with by all 50 states. Paul Krugman: Partying Like It’s 1929. This banking crisis of the 1930s showed that unregulated, unsupervised financial markets can all too easily suffer catastrophic failure. As the decades passed, however, that lesson was forgotten — and now we’re relearning it, the hard way.

Hillary Clinton's tale of landing at Tuzla airport "under sniper fire" and then running for cover is simply not credible. Photographs and video of the arrival ceremony, combined with contemporaneous news reports, tell a very different story.

Paying Insurgents Not to Fight. By Paul Craig Roberts. The real purpose of the "surge" was to hide another deception. The Bush regime is paying Sunni insurgents $800,000 a day not to attack U.S. forces.

Ambassador: Bush personally bullied UN diplomats into supporting Iraq war

Older White House computer hard drives have been destroyed, the White House disclosed to a federal court Friday in a controversy over millions of possibly missing e-mails from 2003 to 2005. White House revealed new information about how it handles its computers in an effort to persuade a federal magistrate it would be fruitless to undertake an e-mail recovery plan that the court proposed.

A sagacious retired US military professional, Captain Eric May, has warned that a false-flag attack could trigger public panic and mobilize massive political backing for the next phase of neocon belligerence. Thanks to Seymour Hersh and others, we know that the next phase of neocon expansion of conflict is their well-planned launch of the Iran War.

The Gospel of John (McCain):

Old soldiers (McCain) never die, they just get young soldiers killed. McCain is an old warrior, who's dumb about war. He's exactly the same about Bush on the war:

NEPA:

Trying to out-do his "Poor Ole' Scooter Libby" editorial and endorsements of Rick Santorum & Don Sherwood, the only non-secret Times Leader owner writes another totally embarrassing, out-of-touch editorial, about the 5-year anniversary of the Iraq War...blames public for wanting "instantaneousness"...fails to mention the war is costing taxpayers $3 TRILLION, there were no WMD's, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, we're torturing people, removed Habeus Corpus, we killed 1 million Iraq civilians, we didn't bring them democracy (remember the long-gone charade with the Iraqi's fingerprint voting?), there are hundreds of soldiers testifying of witnessing atrocities in the Winter Soldier hearings, our economy crashing due to the War of LIES,... He probably shouldn't be allowed to write editorials: click here

Note: There's a huge article on the front & back page of the Times Leader, "Finding a way to get back home again", about "Ruth's Place", with pictures of homeless women, homeless women statistics, etc...but I can't find it online. Why not? Why isn't it online?
