Fourth of July - Big Dan's Big News July 4, 2008
The affluent lifestyle and free-spending habits of the elitist McCain clan. John McCain's multi-millionaire beer heiress wife, Cindy McCain. "Have a beer with her"!
While Cindy McCain, her dependent children and the trusts and companies they control made as much as $29 million — and likely substantially more — from her family’s business interests from 2004 through last year, data from the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Senate, the U.S. Office of Government Ethics and the Center for Responsive Politics also reveals that they spent $11 million purchasing five condominiums for the family, hired additional household help and racked up progressively larger credit card bills almost every year.
Their credit card bills peaked between January 2007 and May 2008, during which time Cindy McCain charged as much as $500,000 in a single month on one American Express card and $250,000 on another, while one of their two dependent children had an AmEx card with a monthly balance as large as $50,000.

● MSNBC: MCCAIN: CAMPAIGN WORRIES, CINDY'S $$
● NYTimes: The bulk of the McCains’ obligations stemmed from a pair of American Express credit cards that are held in Cindy McCain’s name. According to the disclosure reports, which present information on debts in a range rather than providing a precise figure, Mrs. McCain owed $100,000 to $250,000 on each card.
● The Hill is reporting today than John and Cindy McCain’s credit card debt may be as much as $250,000. So John McCain should be in charge of our economy? When you're a multi-millionaire beer heiress, you don't worry about things like this!
● Conservative Republican Andrew Sullivan: Contrast the two candidates on their personal fiscal morality. Obama, who grew up on food stamps and foreswore a lucrative corporate law career, "reported no liabilities in his annual financial disclosures." McCain, who married an heiress worth millions, has more than $100,000 in credit card debt
Attention NEPA Luzerne County homeowners that had their property tax skyrocket with the reassessment!
Get on the "McCain Property Tax Plan" and simply don't pay your property tax for 4 years! On your "7 or so houses"! One of which was the McCain's beachfront property in California, you know, where all the "Hallywood Libruls" have beachfront property! Of course you don't know about this! Because you've been brainwashed into thinking the corporate owned newspapers & TV are "liberal"! If the McCain's not paying property taxes on their beachfront property on one of their "7 or so homes" isn't "elitist", then I don't know what is!
● NEWSWEEK: When you're poor, it can be hard to pay the bills. When you're rich, it's hard to keep track of all the bills that need paying. It's a lesson Cindy McCain learned the hard way when NEWSWEEK raised questions about an overdue property-tax bill on a La Jolla, Calif., property owned by a trust that she oversees. Mrs. McCain is a beer heiress with an estimated $100 million fortune and, along with her husband, she owns at least seven properties, including condos in California and Arizona.
These are "character issues", people!
Some of McCain’s acquaintances are less forgiving, however. They portray the politician as a self-centred womaniser who effectively abandoned his crippled wife to ‘play the field’. They accuse him of finally settling on Cindy, a former rodeo beauty queen, for financial reasons.
