"I call 'Insurance Company Rules'"!!!!!!!!!!!

How many times are you going to fall for "The Republican Noise Machine" tactic of ramming talking points into the mainstream news? Like "Olbermann is partisan and over the top"? Since when is not lying (factual reporting) "over the top"? "The Republican Noise Machine" says it is, so you think it is! You repeat it!

McCain Doesn't Need a Fact-Checker; the Media Edit His Mistakes for Him. Enter Ms. Couric, who used the McCain interview on the CBS evening news, but edited out the McCain misstatement. Enter Olbermann, who did what is far too rare in cable political news: real reporting. He pointed out and documented the latest McCain mistake.

Let's get this straight: The truth isn't "liberal"! GODDAMMIT!!! The truth is the truth!!! Pointing out things like CBS editting McCain gaffes so he looks good in the "news" isn't "LIBERAL"! "The Republican Noise Machine" has labelled truth that makes them look bad: "LIBERAL"! Wake up! Will you? Don't fall for this "liberal media" label! Think about who's saying it! Rush Limbaugh is saying it!

Exposing Bush's historic abuse of power. Salon has uncovered new evidence of post-9/11 spying on Americans. Obtained documents point to a potential investigation of the White House that could rival Watergate.

The "fairy tale" that women voters who backed Hillary will now flock to McCain.

Don't insult the intelligence of women! So, women would PUNISH THEMSELVES by voting for a person who has a track record of harming womens' rights...because Hillary lost?

DEAR MEDIA: How much BULLSHIT do you think you can fabricate for us to swallow to cover up for stolen elections???

Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) campaign and the media would have us believe that herds of disaffected women voters will be stampeding to the Republicans this year because a woman candidate won't be on the presidential ballot in November.

McCain's campaign has been making a clear play for women voters in recent weeks, hosting conference calls with Republican women and touting that his policies on national security, the economy and healthcare appeal to women voters.

But the suggestion that women -- and feminist women, at that -- will be lining up behind him is a fairytale. At least, it should be. McCain's record and policies on issues of importance to women are neither moderate nor maverick.

McSexist: McCain's War on Women. McCain is ignorant about pay equity, wants to overturn Roe v. Wade and likes to brag about his "sexual conquests" and visits to a strip club.

NEPA Flashback: Local NEPA radio show host never has a bad word to say about John McCain, yet calls himself a "feminist":

Special commentary by Big Dan: "Did you see how much gas prices dropped this past week? It went down from '$2.60/gallon higher since Bush took office' to '$2.50/gallon higher since Bush took office!' Just the rise in gas prices during Bush's presidency is greater than the entire cost when he took office! It was $1.46 when he took office!"

(gas was $1.46/gallon when Bush took office, and it fell from $4.06 to $3.96 this past week; and don't forget, the media says that when gas goes up the president has nothing to do with the price of gas...but when it goes down the president has something to do with the price of gas...only if it's a Republican president...gas went from $1.06 to $1.46 while Clinton was president...but that means the president had nothing to do with gas prices during those 8 years because they didn't rise dramatically...OR the Republican congress kept down gas prices...)

11 days after attack, teens charged in fatal attack on immigrant

Carroll said the girl was walking on one side of the street while the teenagers were on the opposite side. Carroll said when the girl met Ramirez, who walked from the park to meet her, one of the teenagers began making comments toward her and Ramirez, saying “Isn’t it a little late for you guys to be out,” “You should get out of this neighborhood” and “Get your Mexican boyfriend out of here.”

Carroll said Ramirez and the girl began walking away from the group and Ramirez called someone on his cell phone.

While he was on the phone, Carroll said one of the teenagers called Ramirez an ethnic slur, to which Ramirez asked back, “What is your problem?”

Piekarsky, Walsh and the 17-year-old juvenile, who is facing charges, ran toward Ramirez and the physical altercation broke out, Carroll said. Donchak also ran toward the fight and engaged with Ramirez.

During the assault, Carroll said Ramirez fell to the ground where he was repeatedly kicked and punched, but at some point was able to get back on his feet.

Carroll said the fight moved west on Lloyd Street, where the Garcias arrived to help. Ramirez called the couple on his cell phone and said someone was trying to beat him up and also using ethnic slurs.

Victor Garcia tried to break up the fight but someone hit him from behind, Carroll said. It was then, the detective said, that Walsh hit Ramirez in the face with a closed fist, forcing him to fall backward and hit his head on the macadam roadway.

As Ramirez was lying unconscious, Piekarsky kicked him in the left side of the head, then the assailants fled the scene, Carroll said.

Ramirez was treated at the scene by Shenandoah EMS and taken to St. Catherine Medical Center Fountain Springs before being flown to Geisinger by helicopter. Carroll said Ramirez underwent surgery, but his condition worsened and he died at 6:38 a.m. July 14.

SHENANDOAH — The announcement of charges in the beating death of Luis Eduardo Ramirez Zavala has given some relief to his fiancee and others. Now the implications of the charges filed Friday are being watched closely. “The ethnic intimidation and homicide (charges) were the biggest ones for me, because I didn’t want to see them charged with assault,” Ramirez’s fiancee, Crystal Dillman, said. “I wanted to see them charged with the actual homicide.”

Words of wisdom: "It's not OK to kill anybody"

After not making this clear before the attack, illegal immigrant crusader Hazleton mayor Lou Barletta wants to be perfectly clear that it's "not OK" to kill illegal immigrants. Barletta then expands his profound statement by saying that, in fact, it's "not OK" to kill anybody! Got that everyone? It's "not OK" to kill anybody! I wonder if Lou Dobbs covered this story, anyone know?

Barletta offers condolences

...and in the local gay porno industry murder news beat...

Synopsis: "...two Virginia Beach men were arrested for the murder four months ago of Bryan Kocis, an adult gay film producer (bottom left picture). An autopsy showed his throat had been slashed and he had been stabbed 28 times in the torso. Pennsylvania police worked the case for months, piecing together step by step how they say Harlow Raymond Cuadra, 25, (top left picture) and Joseph Manuel Kerekes, 33, (top right picture) bought a knife and rented a car in Virginia, then drove up to Pennsylvania and committed murder. Police documents suggest the murder was all about money, that Cuadra, an up-and-coming porn star and male escort, and his business partner worried the victim's rival gay production company would prevent them from signing a porn star, Sean Lockhart, known in the gay porn industry as Brent Corrigan (bottom right picture), who was then in a legal dispute with Kocis’ company, Cobra video. Lockhart, former model for Kocis’ company, is a partner with Grant Roy in LSG Media, a San Diego-based company that markets gay pornographic movies."

Kerekes transcript: Cuadra spoke with two men on night Kocis was killed

...and in local beating to death with a hammer news...

Randal Rushing was caught in a Wilkes-Barre home after murdering 3 people in Scranton with a hammer. Reuben Phillips, who was also arrested that day in the same home along with another person on drug-related charges, said he just met Rushing that day and can't believe he was sitting next to the man wanted in Scranton for the "hammer murders." Yet, in previous newspaper articles, it was reported that Rushing had "blood stained" boots and clothing on when apprehended. So, this guy Phillips didn't think anything was "out of the ordinary" that he was sitting next to a stranger he just met that day with "blood-stained" clothing on, but was aware that area police were looking for a suspect in a triple-murder? I find that hard to believe!!!

Imprisoned man describes Rushing’s apprehension
