Big Dan's Big News June 16, 2010

Special Commentary by Big Dan: "On the Senate's website, they let you sort votes for a bill: By Vote Summary, or By Senator Name, or By Vote Position, or By Home State. It is NO ACCIDENT that they don't give you a choice to sort it BY PARTY!!! Did you ever think about that??? So, this way, you cannot sort BY PARTY and see if one party is voting all one way and the other party is voting straight the other way!!! You CANNOT tell me, they don't know about this!!! Isn't that actually THE MOST IMPORTANT way to sort votes? So each of us, no matter which party we're following, can see who's voting with the other party??? Wouldn't you want to know, for example, if ONE guy keeps voting with the other party all the time??? I guess the Senate doesn't want us to be able to EASILY figure out that information. You can get a calculator, and pen and tablet and figure it out, if you want to know how the votes are along party lines. Isn't that something??? Now this would be to the benefit of EVERY VOTER!"

The Afghanistan "mineral riches" story pushed by the wing of the Pentagon called the NYTimes, pushes a 2+ year old story for a reason to keep us in Afghanistan, because of the anniversary of us being there longer than WWII - we better stay there now that we just found out they have "riches"...or some other country might come in and get the "riches"!!!

Your CIA @ work:

Is Blackwater chief Erik Prince fleeing to the United Arab Emirates? The embattled mercenary firm, which went up for sale last week, has been hit by a slew of legal charges lately: Five of Prince’s top deputies, including his second-in-command, were indicted by a federal grand jury in April for conspiracy, weapons and obstruction of justice. Although Prince was not named in the indictment, several sources speculate to The Nation that he is moving to the UAE because the Mideastern nation has no extradition treaty with the U.S.—meaning he could not be shipped back to the U.S. if he is charged with any crimes. The UAE, made of seven states, the most famous of which are Dubai and Abu Dhabi, is also a major hub for the U.S. war industry.
