Big Dan's Big News Sep 7, 2008

The HBO film "Hacking Democracy", about Bev Harris/BlackBoxVoting.org founder & Electronic Voting Machines. (if you want to just see the part where they easily change the vote total live right in front of your eyes, press "start", then mouse over the bottom of the film and a bar will come up, then go to "9 of 9")

Below: Remember those out of place "USA USA USA" chants that interrupted McCain's speech? Here's why; check out these other camera views besides the networks cameras and read the ticker going by in the video of how McCain has consistently voted against the troops, they were trying to drown out protesters with the "USA USA USA" chants, they had to be told this before hand anticipating protester interruptions OR they had key people in areas of the crowd who knew to start others around them doing this:

Since the last federal election in 2006, volunteers like Graham combined with the enthusiasm generated by the Obama-Clinton struggle to add more than 2 million Democrats to voter rolls in the 28 states that register voters according to party affiliation. The Republicans have lost nearly 344,000 thousand voters in the same states.

Democrats Post Big Gains In Voter Registration

Obama: "Don't be fooled! John McCain's party, with the help of John McCain, has been in charge for nearly eight years. I know the governor of Alaska has been saying she's change, and that's great. She's a skillful politician. But, you know, when you've been taking all these earmarks when it's convenient, and then suddenly you're the champion anti-earmark person, that's not change. Come on! I mean, words mean something, you can't just make stuff up."

OBAMA: DON'T BE FOOLED "Suddenly He's The Change Agent?"... "They Must Think You're Stupid"

Trying to scare/suppress the Obama-leaning college youth vote??? Registrar of Montgomery County, Virginia Issues 'Unsubstantiated' and 'Chilling' Warning to College Students. Sujatha Jahagirdar, program director for the Student Public Interest Research Group's nonpartisan New Voters Project, said, "For a county registrar to issue what really are in our experience unsubstantiated warnings for a particular demographic is alarming. It's upsetting that this is coming up in Virginia. But it's even more upsetting that the ability of young people to vote is questioned in many other states too."

Special commentary by Big Dan: "Since 2006, there's 2 million more registered Democratic voters and a half-million less registered Republican voters. The media is telling us this election is close. So, are they saying that these millions of Democratic voters aren't voting or are voting for McCain? Is the mainstream media telling us this election is close for higher ratings or preparing us for another stolen election like 2000 & 2004? The Republican operatives are, as usual, going to try and disenfranchize Democratic-leaning voters like young people and minorities. Everything I've read election after election, Democratic-leaning voters are targetted for disenfranchizement by purging voter rolls, being mailed purposely misleading information, hours-long voting lines, and more. Republican-leaning precincts around the country never seem to have these problems. And don't forget, these non-recountable electronic voting machines are made by Republican-donor companies and close to 100% of reported anomalies on them favor Republicans - that's not random! Do the research! Corporations are running our elections on their private software with their private counting. The HAVA Act, which introduced electronic voting machines, was sponsored by Republican Bob Ney who's on parole after serving 18 months in jail for taking bribes from super-lobbyist Jack Abramoff who is in jail. You have to be insane to think our voting system has integrity!"

We still don’t know a lot about Palin except that she’s better at delivering a speech than McCain and that she defends her own pregnant daughter’s right to privacy even as she would have the government intrude to police the reproductive choices of all other women. Most of the rest of the biography supplied by her and the McCain camp is fiction.
