Big Dan's Big News Sep 18, 2008

Republicans use the Homer Simpson defense on the economy: "IT'S NOT OUR FAULT; YOU DIDN'T STOP US FROM BEING STUPID! IT'S ACTUALLY YOUR FAULT, NOW THAT WE THINK ABOUT IT! WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP US FROM DOING THIS???"

Today's Republican Corporation talking point in the media about Republican Phil Gramm slipping the Enron Loophole into a huge bill right before Clinton got out (and when THEY controlled congress btw...): "YOU DIDN'T STOP US FROM BEING STUPID", or the "Homer Simpson Defense". IE: Even though the Republicans and Phil Gramm OWN this crashing economy for WRITING the Enron Loophole, it's the Democrats fault for not "stopping them from being stupid"! Yes! When the Republicans WRITE something that's greedy and bad and ruins America, "We're all at fault!!!" Republicans never accept blame for something, although they tell everyone else to!!! Just like Bristol Palin getting knocked up: "Oh, how she overcame this unfortunate situation!!!" The Republican Party, The Grand Old Pig, the party that stands for accountability, blames the Democrats and Clinton for something THEY WROTE!!! Because Clinton and the Democrats should have "STOPPED THEM FROM BEING STUPID"!!!!!!!!!!

Republicans accuse Democrats of proposing off shore drilling legislation, but their legislation is a "sham" because it only allows drilling up to 50 miles from shore. The Republicans argue in front of congress, that according to the data from the Interior Department's Minerals Management Service all the oil is from 3 to 50 miles from shore:

Drill Pickle; The heart of our democratic government is compromise and polling, so the Democrats blink and pass a bill allowing offshore drilling.

Here's another FAKE group of people like hockey moms, soccer moms, nascar dads, PUMA's, and disgruntled Hillary voters...the media is pushing (this time the NYTimes) for the upcoming stolen election! The Democrats have never changed their stance on abortion from election to election, Catholic church attendance is falling, they're consolidating Catholic schools and churches due to this lack of attendence and membership...but somehow Catholics against abortion is a big voting block against Democrats...BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!! Notice there's never any of these fabricated groups that vote Democratic??? How about "Increased Democratic voter registration and Decreased Republican voter registration nationwide" story??? Where's THAT story???

Abortion Issue (bd: according to the media) Again Dividing Catholic Votes
