What's most notable about John McCain's confusion over the number of homes he owns isn't merely that it demonstrates that, after running his campaign based on depicting Barack Obama as an out-of-touch elitist and himself as the all-American Everyman, McCain lives a life that is about as far removed from the Average American as one can get, and has done so for decades. What's notable is how McCain was able to live that way. McCain himself isn't actually rich. He just lives off the inherited wealth of his much younger former mistress and now-second-wife -- for whom he dumped his older and disfigured first wife -- and who then used her family's money to fund McCain's political career and keep him living in extreme luxury (after insisting that he sign a prenuptial agreement, which would make McCain the first U.S. President to have one).

In 2007, 41 percent of working-age Americans -- 72 million people -- reported having medical bill problems or trouble paying off medical debts, up from 34 percent in 2005. Another 7 million adults over 65 had similar problems, bringing the total to 79 million adults struggling to pay health-care bills, according to a new study from The Commonwealth Fund, Losing Ground: How the Loss of Adequate Health Insurance Is Burdening Working Families.

Special commentary by Big Dan: "Health insurance is a big scam! First, they invented "co-pays". Co-pays were originally $5. Then they were $10. Then they were $15. Now, some co-pays are $50 or $100. Then they invented "deductibles". First, deductibles were $50. Then they were $100. Now they're $500 to $10,000!!! Yes, I said $10,000!!! NOW...they invented "co-insurance"! Notice the fancy names for all of these things. What is "co-insurance"? It's simply a % of something they won't cover. "Co-insurance" was recently introduced, it's relatively new. They had to think of another way to cover even less while they're raising your premium from $250 to $1,000. When they introduce something new like co-insurance, they have to "sell it to you" like a snake-oil salesman. Their description when co-insurance came out: "You get to participate in your coverage" is what they said. That means they're screwing you out of covering something they used to cover. When co-insurance came out, it was 10%. Now in many cases co-insurance is 25%. That means if you have an operation for $20,000, you have to pay $5,000 co-insurance, $1,500 deductible, and $500 co-pay...OR, even though you're paying $1,000 a month for your health insurance, you STILL have to pay an extra $7,000 for the operation! Then you get a dozen extra little bills like part of an x-ray that wasn't covered, part of a special doctor's fee that wasn't covered, etc... If you have health insurance, it should be a LAW that everything is covered with NO EXTRA BILLS! Or you're really NOT COVERED!!! When mentioning all the millions of foreclosures going on in America, the "news" fails to mention the % of peoples' income going towards co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, and premiums! Medical bills by PEOPLE WHO ALREADY HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE are a big reason for all the foreclosures going on! What % of peoples' income is going towards this? WE NEED SINGLE-PAYER UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE COVERAGE AND THE REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS AREN'T TALKING ABOUT IT! And we don't just need all Americans to be covered, we have to stop all these EXTRA FRIVILOUS CHARGES, TOO!!!!!!! I'm asking all of you, millions of Americans who get these frivilous extra charges, to do what I do: THROW THEM IN THE GARBAGE!!! That is exactly what I do, I throw them in the garbage!!! I am not going to pay $1,000/month premium and then get scammed for all these extra charges!!! And what kind of a system do we have, that if you lose your job, you lose your health insurance???"

WTC-7 was a trapezoid! That isn't addressed in the recent NIST "one-time miracle/phenomenon" explanation they just released 7 years after it fell down! Also, were there THREE "one-time miracle/phenomenons" that day? WTC-1 & 2, also?

Because NIST claims that only column 79 was destroyed in the beginning of the collapse sequence, and because the same side of the building in which 79 was located was the bigger, heavier side of the building, two different influences should have ensured that the building tilted toward the bigger end. Therefore, high school physics shows that - if column 79 had collapsed and explosives did not take out all of the other support columns at once - building 7 should have tipped towards one side.
