Big Dan's Big News August 18, 2008

Bush cheating during the 2004 Bush-Kerry presidential debates, with obvious "wire" that can clearly be seen on Bush's back. This story was squashed by the "liberal" NYTimes right before the 2004 election. The NYTimes didn't want you to know about this when you went to vote. (click on Bush to enlarge picture)

McCain cheats in debates, just like Bush did in the 2004 Kerry debate!

NBC's Andrea Mitchell: "MITCHELL: The Obama people must feel that he didn't do quite as well as they might have wanted to in that context, because that — what they're putting out privately is that McCain may not have been in the cone of silence and may have had some ability to overhear what the questions were to Obama.... He seemed so well-prepared."

A Democrat who fights back? What's going on here?

Obama called the U.S. economy a disaster thanks to "John McCain's president, George W. Bush," and chided his Republican rival's campaign team for trying to make him look unpatriotic and weak.

"McCain says 'Here's my plan, I'm going to drill here, drill now which is something he only came up with two months ago when he started looking at polling," Obama said of McCain's energy policy. Obama noted that McCain had long opposed lifting the moratorium on offshore drilling.

"They say this other guy is unpatriotic, or this guy likes French people. That's what they said about Kerry," referring to the 2004 Democratic nominee who lost narrowly to Bush. "They try to make it out like Democrats aren't tough enough, aren't macho enough. It's the same strategy."

Sunday morning on NBC’s Meet the Press, host David Gregory asserted that the Republican Party “used to be the party of big ideas.” Gregory then asked his guest Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA), “What’s the big idea Senator McCain is campaigning on?” Jindal responded, “I think there’s several,” but couldn’t provide an answer. Gregory asked again, “Where are the new big ideas of the Republican Party that John McCain is, is championing?” And again Jindal couldn’t provide an answer. Watch it:

Howard Dean accidentally calls the Republican Party the 'white' party

ACCIDENTALLY?

I was wondering why the Democrats don't make it a campaign issue that there are NO BLACK REPUBLICANS IN FEDERAL CONGRESS!!!!!

J.C. Watts: The "Last Black Republican" in federal congress! Circa 2002! Howard Dean is RIGHT! The Republican Party IS the "White Party"!

According to an article by Kevin Parkinson at Global Research.ca – Center for Research on Globalization, an upcoming report in Time Magazine will attempt to smooth over the rough edges of a diabolical plot by Telus and Bell Canada to charge per site fees on most internet sites. The plan will convert the internet into a cable-like system in which customers will sign up and pay for access to specific web sites and then pay al a carte to visit any sites beyond the package they have bought. It's modeled on the manner in which cable TV subscribers buy prepackaged service, leaving them open to purchase extra services on a per view basis. Many sites not popular enough to be bundled would disappear.
