Maybe THIS is why the major networks besides FOX "news" aren't touching the ACORN story? FOX "news" airs that an ACORN employee MURDERED someone...and she didn't! She was "messing with them"!
Fox News' Glenn Beck recently aired a video indicating that an ACORN employee shot and killed her husband, without first bothering to verify whether the husband is, in fact, dead. He isn't. The video is, in other words, a fraud. But that didn't stop Beck from calling it evidence of "murder" and perhaps even "premeditated murder." Of a person who is still alive.
Sean Hannity aired it, too.
Any chance we'll see this level of outrage directed at Glenn Beck for unquestioningly airing an apparently fraudulent tape in order to portray an ACORN employee as a murderer? Beck has, after all, been pretty clear that he is trying to bring ACORN down.

Let me be the first to say this: the way rightwing media keeps pounding and pounding and pounding ACORN stories and dehumanizing ACORN activists, some rightwinger is going to shoot ACORN activists, and they will be a "hero" in the rightwing media...just like the abortion doctor killer, and those rightwingers who TWICE shot people in liberal churches!
I offer you almost daily proof that the so-called "liberal media" is FASCIST and NOT "liberal". Here's more: the much larger 2002 anti-war protest was NOT on the front page of ANY major newpaper; the smaller Tea Party was on the front pages of ALL major newspapers!!! Liberals do not OWN the major newspapers, TV, and radio. Corporations OWN them, corporations aren't "liberal". The OWNED so-called liberal media speaks for: the wealthy OWNERS, the wealthiest few Americans who control BOTH parties, corporations, and the military industrial complex! This is not a LEFT-RIGHT or REPUBLICAN-DEMOCRAT issue, it's a RICH vs. POOR issue: corporations who OWN the media are making $ off the wars, and they are making $ off health care! So the papers put the anti-health care reform Tea-Baggers on the front page, and the LARGER anti-war protest BURIED in the papers somewhere...if they cover anti-war protests at all! And the LARGER anti-war protests were LARGER without the HELP of a major news network, like the Teaa-baggers have FOX "news" and Glenn Beck promoting them. Also, with no coverage, they have people saying "what happened to all the anti-war protests??? There has never been a major network EVER blatantly endorsing any protests, but the anti-health care reform Tea-Baggers have FOX "news" and Glenn Beck promoting them! If you look at the videos I posted yesterday, if you go to these Tea-bagger protests and you don't agree with every single thing they do, you get shouted down, followed, harassed, etc...JUST LOOK AT THE VIDEOS I POSTED YESTERDAY! If the Tea-baggers were FOR health care reform, they wouldn't be on the front page of the major newspapers! Just like the anti-war protests! Keep thinking that the corporate-OWNED newspapers are "liberal", and you are living in a fantasy world. If the corporate-OWNED media is liberal, name the liberals who OWN it!!! You can't, because they don't exist!!! The corporation General Electric is one of FIVE corporations that OWN virtually all the "liberal" media. People on the right who lately are pointing to the lack of coverage of the recent ACORN story, on the other hand aren't complaining about the ZERO coverage of the "liberal" media of the GOOD things ACORN has done for DECADES, such as their campaigns on behalf of poor people for things such as: Affordable Housing, Better Schools, Fair Housing, Fair Tax Fees, Foreclosures, Gulf Coast Recovery, Health Care, Immigration, Living Wage, Paid Sick Days, Predatory Lending, Utilities, and Voter Engagement. They IGNORE the ZERO media coverage of this. ACORN is an organization with a lot of minorities that numbers almost half a million people, and the ratio of the "liberal" media's coverage of the good things they do vs. some bad apples is outrageously biased against them! Should the Republican Party disband, because of their recent off-the-charts corruption of Sanford, Vitter, Craig, DeLay, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Rice, etc...??? Actually, Tom DeLay is now on a reality show! Maybe these ACORN people involved in this scandal should get a reality show! I'm not condoning what these "few bad apples" did, by no means...but let's get serious about how biased the coverage really is! The ACORN attacks by the right have been non-stop over the years. Remember the NEVER-PROVEN ACORN voter fraud dueing the election? ACORN=NIGGER, in the rightwing dictionary. The out of proportion ACORN attacks by the right for years and years have everything to do with the fact that it's the largest minority activist group, and they are afraid of them. This may lead to physical attacks on ACORN members, I can see it now! Just like the shooting of that abortion doctor.
