So, the JACKASS teabagger governor of Texas still wants to secede, huh? Republicans are patriotic...only when there's a Republican president. It's all inflammatory rhetoric. When 9/11 happened on Bush/Cheney's watch, you didn't see Democrats going around in the media doing this to Republicans. I've written here previously, that Texas leaving the U.S. (good riddance, btw...PLEASE leave!) would assure the Democrats of winning every presidential election forever. The enormous amount of electoral votes Texas had, was always a good Republican stalwart against the massive electoral votes of blue states New York and California. Keith Olbmermann (below video) thinks of sooooo many more things that I didn't think of. The Dallas Cowboys: North Texas' team...no longer America's team. And hispanics will outnumber whites in Texas very shortly, and maybe they'll vote to annex to Mexico? The country of Tejas will be cordonned off from the U.S. with another wall...on the north? See the video for much MUCH more. Oh, and btw...Texan George Bush can be their presient...FOREVER! I'm serious, when I say, and I've always said, I wish they would secede! Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Country of Tejas! And you know what else? I hate the Dallas Cowboys, I'm a Philadelphia Eagles fan, anyway! Teabag that!

Republicans Still Rule Their World
The ease Republicans have in shifting the conversation from "torture is illegal" to "NANCY KNEW," as if the latter, even if true, in any way changed the former. They kick the soccer ball, and the press follows. After all these years I'm not entirely sure why that is, but there you are. And, you know, disgraced former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has precisely zero power but his every pronouncement is treated as Incredibly Important News. Any journalists want to explain why?
