UN: Radiation to Hit U.S. By Friday

Radiation DOES hit U.S. -

(btw, remember the first "news" reports? a few people dead; minor problem, nothing to worry about?)

If we could rely on the Japanese and American governments to inform us of any danger, we wouldn't have to be so vigilant.

But given the American government's cover up of the severity of the BP oil disaster, the health risk to New Yorkers after 9/11, and numerous other health issues, and numerous other health issues, we will have to educate ourselves.

(note how you have to get the REAL NEWS from RT-Russian Television, and a great American journalist is blacklisted from U.S. mainstream media and has to go on RT!)

Look at the hubris that was designed into these Mark I reactors. The spent fuel is the problem. Stored on site, in open pools requiring pumps to run 24/7, forever, with no backup power supply.

The spent fuel IS the source of the hydrogen that caused the plant explosions. All that was required was for water to stop circulating around these spent fuel rods. That single fact set the rest of what we have witnessed in motion. Once the water stops circulating, the rods heat the water to a boil, evaporating it into steam and producing hydrogen in the process, all best explained and diagrammed here:

Spent Fuel Pools at Fukushima

So if 20 years of spent nuclear fuel rods were stored in a pool of water at the top of the building, and the top of the building is blown off, is that a problem? Not one you're likely to hear about in the "news". And who DESIGNED the facility to store its spent fuel rods on the fucking roof? That would be Jeffrey Immelt's GE (Paul Volker's replacement - David Rockefeller's man).

Nuke engineer: Fuel rod fire at Fukushima reactor “would be like Chernobyl on steroids”

Just saw this guy obfuscating his ass of in an interview on CNN on behalf of the US Nuclear industry:

"We think we're pretty well equipped," said Tony Pietrangelo, a spokesman for the Nuclear Energy Institute, an industry lobbying group.

Expect to see a lot more of him in the coming days, and pay particular attention to whether the interviewer ever forces him to actually ANSWER THE REAL QUESTION:

"No one could possibly have foreseen..."

– The reason they not only lost the back-up generators when the tsunami hit, but can’t easily replace them with portable generators brought to the site is because the connection points, with the generators, were completely flooded by the tsunami.

[The tsunami] easily overcame the sea walls surrounding the Fukushima plant. It swamped the diesel generators, which were placed in a low-lying area, apparently because of misplaced confidence that the sea walls would protect them.

Partial meltdown likely underway at reactor in Japan

Here's the only guy to listen to re: the truth (which means he will not be seen on TV in the US):

Damon Moglen, director of the climate and energy program at Friends of the Earth, an international network of organizations focusing on environmental issues, said Tepco and the Japanese government are still not being forthcoming enough with information about the scope of the nuclear reactor situation.

“They are handing out nothing and treating it like something,” Moglen said. “Some extremely radioactive elements may have been released and we need more information to say whether we are on the down or up slope of this accident.”

You won't hear anyone answer this question..."where are the spent fuel rods that were stored on site?"

Hydrogen Explosion?

The vertical plume of the explosion at Reactor 3 appears to be shot from a cannon, with some very heavy elements falling out of the cloud. The shape of the dark cloud suggests that the top of the reactor vessel has ruptured. A bright red/orange flash can be seen at the moment of the explosion --- but hydrogen flame is invisible.

The hydrogen explosion at Reactor 1 blew the top and sides off the outer containment shell, hurling light dust and debris evenly away from the center. The shockwave propagation typical of hydrogen ignition events is not evident in the Reactor 2 explosion.

Watch any current CNN news report (Monday afternoon).

Note that they are stating the following as a fact at present:

"radiation levels just outside the plant briefly rose above legal limits, but since had declined significantly."

That is a quote from an article published Sunday morning, which is likely also a lie:

They are downplaying this (lying to you) on purpose - and they are doing it skillfully and intentionally.

Let this serve as the final conclusive proof that our "news" media - isn't. It is a propaganda mechanism - totally.

Here's the diagram of the building (note the height of the reactor and the space above the top of it):

Here's a picture of what's left of the building:

And here's the description in the link above that speaks of where the 20 years worth of spent fuel rods USED TO BE:

Fears also mounted about the threat posed by the pools of water where years of spent fuel rods are stored.

At the 40-year-old Fukushima Daiichi Unit 1, where an explosion Saturday destroyed a building housing the reactor, the spent-fuel pool, in accordance with General Electric's design, is placed above the reactor. Tokyo Electric said it was trying to figure out how to maintain water levels in the pools, indicating that the normal safety systems there had failed too.

Failure to keep adequate water levels in a pool would lead to a catastrophic fire, said nuclear experts, some of whom think Unit 1's pool might now be outside.

"That would be like Chernobyl on steroids," said Arnie

Now - in light of these facts, is this not a picture of those spent fuel rods being launched and vaporized?

Remember all the hubub and consternation over storage of spent fuel rods at Yucca Mountain in the United States and the extreme efforts and related debates surrounding this issue?

GE's design to store them on site has just been proven disastrous. Don't expect NBC to tell you how, or why. Don't expect Obama's man, Immelt, to say anything about it either.

This is how fascism, combined with propaganda, work.

The Idiocy and Hubris of Engineers: Will GE Get Whacked for the Catastrophic Failure of its Nuke Plants in Fukushima?

Meltdowns Grow More Likely at the Fukushima Reactors A hydrogen explosion yesterday at Unit 1 severely damaged the reactor building, blowing apart its roof.

Reactor #3 is a MOX-fueled reactor. See how much that matters (and why they're not talking about it) right here:

Japan - Exploded Nuclear Plant Uses MOX Fuel - Not Uranium! What is that? Just 2 MILLION Times WORSE than Uranium or Chernobyl's Meltdown!

I assume they stored those spent MOX fuel rods atop the reactor. You'll never learn the truth in the MSM - so don't wait to educate yourself.

3,450 old fuel assemblies were in the #3 Reactor building as of 2010

At 5 pm on Monday, nothing but lies from the industry

So what caused the buildings to explode? Likely the result of the spent fuel rods being exposed to air. They require circulating water to keep them cool. Not only did the water circulation stop, the water supply was cut entirely - so the rods subsequently heated-up and boiled the water out of the pools (producing both steam and hydrogen - think pressure cooker), leading to massive steam/hydrogen build up (with no system for venting - design flaw - thanks GE) and subsequent explosion.

Storage of the spent fuel rods in an open pool within the buildings themselves will be determined as the critical design flaw that led to this outcome. The reason for on site storage is that no one wants to deal with the waste - and without a "solution," GE couldn't sell nuclear plant construction.

The "solution" has been proven not to be one. The price we will all pay, for GE's profits, is incalculable.

The world has just learned the Fascism Lesson. When government and business align, public safety comes last.

Storing spent fuel in open pools in the same building with an active nuclear reactor is the height of insanity.

Assume that once the rods had heated up to the extent that they caused the water to boil off - the next thing that happened was they caught fire - igniting the massive pressurized cloud of built-up hydrogen inside the building.

I'm sure they will tell us that it will take them years to figure out what went wrong, but seriously, how difficult is this? They are storing an ignition source in water. When you take away the water, the ignition source becomes active.

I (plunger) personally photographed an open-air fuel rod storage pool that looks just like this:

Remove the water, and you've got a bomb.

Trading of "Event Contracts"and HAARP

How does the death of AIR FORCE man, John Wheeler, tie to a Tsunami in Japan? How does HAARP tie to birds falling from the sky? Why not ask Karl Rove - "THE ARCHITECT?"

Can man cause earthquakes which in turn would cause a tsunami? Yes, it's called "HAARP". Would the psycopaths ruling the world use it for nefarious purposes? I think we all know the answer to that.

Will this make the mainstream news in America?

Interesting how all of the stories about explosions at power plants claim that it is buildings other than those housing the fuel rods. Sure - you bet.

Also interesting...

GE built these power plants, and clearly the design SHOULD HAVE included positioning the diesel powered back up generators and fuel to power them ON THE ROOF so that in the event of tsunami, the backup power source would not be swamped and the fuel rods could be cooled.

Watch the dance that GE's Jeffrey Immelt does over the coming days. See if he even admits that these are HIS POWER PLANTS.

Will NBC cover it?

Nuclear power in Japan:

Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant

Construction began 1966
Commission date March 26, 1971

The plant consists of six boiling water reactors designed by General Electric. The reactors for units 1, 2, and 6 were supplied by General Electric, those for units 3 and 5 by Toshiba, and unit 4 by Hitachi. All six reactors were designed by General Electric.[20] Architectural design for General Electric's units was done by Ebasco.

Reactors 1, 2 and 3 were in operation when the March 11, 2011 earthquake struck, while reactors 4, 5 and 6 were undergoing maintenance.[5] The three operating reactors underwent automatic shut down.

Was it a coincidence that fully half of the reactors at the plant were already shut down for maintenance?

In February 2009, Immelt was appointed as a member to the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board to provide the president and his administration with advice and counsel in fixing America's economic downturn.[10]

On January 21, 2011, President Obama announced Immelt's appointment as chairman of his outside panel of economic advisers, succeeding former Federal Reserve chairman Paul Volcker.[11] The New York Times reported that Obama's appointment of Immelt was "another strong signal that he intends to make the White House more business-friendly."[11] Immelt will retain his post at G.E. while becoming "chairman of the Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, a newly named panel that President Obama is creating by executive order."

Watch how the US strong arms Japan to get GE these contracts.

Now look who was responsible for the design of the plant - and note the connection from GE to Raytheon (remember Raytheon's direct role in 9/11?)

The Electric Bond and Share Company was originally a holding company that sold securities of electric utilities. It was created by General Electric in 1905. The company was restructured after the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935. Later known as EBASCO Services, it provided engineering consulting and construction services. Among other projects EBASCO designed nuclear power plants. EBASCO was sold to Raytheon in 1993 and became Raytheon Engineers and Constructors.

So GE owned EBASCO during the time the plant was built, and despite having sold it to Raytheon in 1993 - GE owned the design and construction of this power plant.

Here's GE-Hitach, based in Wilmington, DE.

The book of business they have lined up to build nuclear power plants around the world represents BILLIONS that will not flow to GE when these projects are shelved.

How will the US government work to protect GE and Immelt.

The conflicts of interest is staggeringly obvious to this US Taxpayer.

Check out the date on this story:

My comment:
The NRC had just approved GE-Hitachi's latest reactor design, set to be implemented worldwide, and this story comes out on the same day as the tsunami?

Look how Obama flew to India on Immelt's behalf to try to compel the Indian government to set aside its liability law to let GE-Hitachi off the hook if/when something goes wrong with their reactors in the future:

From the story linked above:

India sticks it to U.S. over liability law

Another of those key commercial prospects is India, which as part of its massive nuclear energy expansion program has identified a site that would feature multiple GEH ESBWR reactors. GEH CEO Caroline Reda has been gung ho in pursuit of business with India traveling there as part of an official U.S. trade mission in February 2011.

To ink deals there, the Indian government will have to set aside a draconian supplier liability law that has locked out American firms from entering the market. Despite considerable diplomatic pressure, and a visit from President Obama last November, the Indian government hasn't budged on the issue.

GE's stock is down 2.3% in the pre-market. It should collapse by any logical measure. If you see it rescued at the end of trading, it's the US government doing the buying - with your money.

And then (as always) there is David Rockefeller - his connections to Volker, Geithner, and Immelt:

Who'd a thunk it:

The state Public Service Commission is poised Friday to approve selection of a Louisiana corporation with a history of environmental violations to manage Wisconsin's popular Focus on Energy program.

Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure Inc., a subsidiary of the Baton
Rouge-based Shaw Group, was selected by an evaluation committee that included four representatives of Wisconsin's investor-owned utilities.

Shaw also has some ties to Koch Industries, the Wichita, Kan., firm that has been a big booster of embattled Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker. But there is no indication that Koch Industries would profit from the deal.

Note that he can barely contain his glee over the events in Japan - and has been fed the talking points that the event in Japan is GOOD FOR THE MARKET - GOOD NEWS FOR THE US ECONOMY.

Don't think for a moment this is a "natural" disaster. The timing was selected for multiple reasons. Watch gold, oil, the US dollar and the stock market. Watch Japan submit to the will of the NWO.

Precisely emulates the Netanyahu comments in the aftermath of 9/11. Their "inside voice" just came flying out!

Shadow Government @ Work:

An unmanned Delta 4 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida on Friday carrying a spy satellite. And that's about all that the general public really knows at this point.

The rocket launch, which had briefly been delayed because of high winds, is hauling along a satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office. So what's going up there? Cue Hollywood and let your imaginations roam. For the record, the Air Force Space Command put out a terse comment under the byline of Col. James Ross of the 45th Space Wing vice commander. He explained that the mission "helps ensure that crucial NRO resources will continue to strengthen our national defense."

However, there are some common strands to follow. The launch follows by less than a week the Air Force's launch of its second secret X-37B space plane on yet another clandestine mission. Both that spacecraft and this launch blasted off on a rocket provided by United Launch Alliance, a Virginia-based company that designs, builds and operates the U.S's intelligence-gathering spy satellite network.
