Big Dan's Big News April 4, 2009

"Now there's going to be guy's walking down the aisle with horses" - rightwingnuts

Now there's 3 states that gays can get married in: Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Iowa. Now there's one in the midwest, so you don't have to travel all the way to Mass & Conn. My take on gay marriage - I have one simple question: "How does it affect me/you?" It doesn't. If you want to tell two consenting adults what they can and can't do, and they aren't hurting or bothering anyone, there's something wrong with YOU!!! Also, they should have the same rights as everyone else. I can't believe I'm even explaining this to you!!! Gay marriage is none of my or anyone else's business, except those getting married. It is a matter of time, there is a 100% chance that all 50 states will allow gay marriage. Civil equality for all citizens.

NYTimes: Iowa Court Voids Gay Marriage Ban

Those activist REPUBLICAN judges!!!

"The FOUR state Supreme Courts that have ruled in support of same sex-marriage were appointed by Republican governors."

I couldn't say it any better than Keith Olbermann (this was from when the "progressive" state of California shot down gay marriage). No, gay marriage isn't going to ruin America; not providing health care for all, starting college kids off in life with 6 figure debt, and spending $284,722 Per Second in Iraq and Afghanistan will! I'm ashamed that Pennsylvania does not allow gays to marry. How dare people tell two consenting adults they can't get married? Is this the 1800's or something? If there's one BIG thing I really hate, it's people telling other people what to do, when they aren't bothering or affecting them.

This Iowa ruling about gay marriage probably disturbs crackpot homophobe Rick "man on dog" Santorum. Expect a whacko column from him in your local newspaper! Go away, Rick! Go crawl under a rock somewhere!

So, what do you think would be in the so-called "liberal media", if a Democrat delayed the confirmation of a Republican woman Iraq War vet who lost her legs in the war? Republican U.S. Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina is delaying the nomination vote and swearing-in of injured Iraq veteran Tammy Duckworth for a top post in the Veterans Affairs administration. Burr is, of course, a member of the crazy CULT called the Republican Party. Tammy Duckworth is an Iraq War veteran who lost both her legs in the war. Tammy Duckworth is one of the smartest, nicest people in politics. I suppose Burr knows more about Veterans Affairs than Tammy Duckworth???

"He's basically doing some due diligence as he does for every nominee to ensure veterans have the best representation," said Burr's spokesman, David Ward. "It's the same thing he would do with any nominee."

Of course, Ward declined to discuss what the questions were about! How come I knew that would be their response!

Burr delays Duckworth confirmation

Below: Dick "5 deferments" Cheney, hurt his back supposedly moving his things from his office. He showed up to Obama's inauguration in a wheel chair. The only time he was in a wheelchair. Do you think he hurt his back moving, or he had people moving for him and showed up to Obama's inauguration in a wheelchair for sympathy? Call me crazy, but I think Dick Cheney had guys moving his stuff for him. Can you picture Dick Cheney carrying boxes out of his office? Yeah, RIGHT!!!

How come he was never seen in a wheelchair before or after Obama's inauguration??? He wasn't in a wheelchair when he was showing up on TV all the time after the inauguration!!! Far be it, for a reporter to ask him, "Why aren't you in a wheelchair?", when he immediately went on TV trashing Obama after the inauguration.

Flashback: Glenn Beck called hurricane survivors in New Orleans "scumbags," said he "hates" 9/11 families. I guess that looked good on his resume and FOX "news" hired him.

"I didn't think I could hate victims faster than the 9/11 victims" - Glen Beck, September 9, 2005 (two days before the victims' anniversary)

More FOX "news" lies and misinformation below:

Attorney General Eric Holder wants to release classified Bush-era interrogation memos. But U.S. intel officials are fiercely lobbying the White House to block him from moving forward.
