Wisconsin comes to Pennsylvania: GOP Gov Tom Corbett's "DAY OF RECKONING" talking point = Pennsylvania going down the SHITTER: a disguised talking point meaning "MORE TRANSFER OF WEALTH FROM THE MIDDLECLASS/POOR TO THE ALREADY WEALTHY"...but at the state level. The USA becoming a 3rd World Country plans coming to fruition. We're already the only civilized (I use the term loosely) nation that doesn't cover all it's citizens with health care. It's because we "elect" leaders like this, leaders that are leading us right down the SHITTER. Republican Governor Tom Corbett's "Day of Reckoning" speech means "Day of Reckoning" for Pa. college students...but not out-of-town gas drillers or the prison industrial complex. But that makes sense: when a generation of uneducated Pa. kids turns to crime, we'll need more prisons:

Let me be clear: people who espouse cutting government help for the most vulnerable, neediest Americans are selfish and greedy and the opposite of "religious". Those in need are NOT going to "magically" be taken care of by the "invisible hand of the market". The PROOF is that they NEVER have been "taken care of by the magic hand of the market". There was never anything EVER stopping the "magic free hand of the market" from taking care of them. They aren't being taken care of RIGHT NOW by the "magic hand of the free market". The "magic hand of the free market" WILL NEVER magically take care of them because people are selfish and greedy. Can't you get it through your head you are simply greedy and selfish? Stop making excuses! Stop PRETENDING your excuse is you're against BIG GOVERNMENT. You're just GREEDY and SELFISH! And you don't want people to point this out. I'm pointing it out! You want people to go around saying, "Oh, you're not greedy and selfish, you just don't believe in 'big government'". BULLSHIT! YOU'RE GREEDY AND SELFISH! Or you would be out there giving your "magic hand of the free market" to them...AND YOU'RE NOT! You also want to FORCE women to have babies, but you want to cut all the funding for them. That's even MORE BULLSHIT piled HIGHER and DEEPER! Of course, you will continue to keep fooling yourself that you are a good person so you don't look bad and it's "big government" you are against. And let me guess: you don't say anything about corporate tax cuts and tax cuts for the wealthy. But your reason is that their wealth will "trickle down". It NEVER trickled down and never will! YOU are a greedy, selfish, idiot. Isn't if funny, too, how people like that are the ones that call themselves "religious"? It reminds me of the famous quote, "Thou dost protest too much". People who continually have to tell themselves and others that they are good, religious people...aren't. I heard a guy on the radio yesterday say, "I'm for all these cuts. Government is getting too big. I hate when people say I'm greedy and selfish, though. I'm not a bad guy, but why should I have to pay for 'these people'?" I'm sure he goes to church regularly. I never saw a person without health care say, "I'm against health care". I never saw a person who's starving say, "I'm against food stamps". I never saw a person who needed heat say, "I'm against LIHEAP." I never saw a person who can't afford to feed their kid say, "I'm against funding Head Start." I never saw a person with a kid in college say, "I'm for cutting college aid". And so on and so on. It's the SELFISH "HAVE'S" saying this! No one in their right mind would be against something THEY need! Therefore, the people saying this have all those things...but don't want to be called "greedy and selfish". They're just against Big Government. When a radio show caller says they're against funding other peoples' health care, when is the radio show host going to ask, "Do YOU have health care?" Obviously they do, but they don't want someone else who can't afford it to have it. But then again, they SHOULD have it...because the "magic hand of the free market" should've taken care of that! Right? They want their cake and eat it, too: they want to cut funding to the poorest most vulnerable people...but don't want to be called greedy and selfish. Just like racists hate being called racists.

On the local level, we're cutting kids' education and not touching the gas drillers and the prison industrial complex. On the federal level, we're not cutting Pentagon spending (over HALF our budget) while cutting public services for American citizens nationwide. The overall pattern is we're giving WELFARE via our taxes to gas drillers, the Pentagon Military Industrial Complex, and the Prison Industrial Complex, and cutting public services for all Americans such as health care and education. There is a "Day of Reckoning"...only for middleclass and poor Americans. The super wealthy just got hundreds of billions in tax cuts, too, there was no "Day of Reckoning: for the wealthy. According to a recent report in Tablet Magazine, Premiere Radio Networks, a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications, hired actors to call in as guests.
A website for the Premiere On Call service was taken offline before the report was published, but a cached version of the website is still available.
“I was surprised that it seemed so open,” the actor told me in an interview. “There was really no pretense of covering it up.”
Curious, the actor did some snooping and learned that Premiere On Call was a service offered by Premiere Radio Networks, the largest syndication company in the United States and a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications, the entertainment and advertising giant. Premiere syndicates some of the more sterling names in radio, including Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Sean Hannity. US army used psy-ops on senators to get extra funding for unpopular war
The incident offers an indication of just how desperate the U.S. command in Afghanistan is to spin American civilian leaders into supporting an increasingly unpopular war.
