The health insurance industry lobbyists are paying $1.4 MILLION a day to lobby congress against against single payer health care. That definitely means you should be for it, if they're doing that. Where do they get that money from? Well, it's got to be profits from health care, right? Isn't that ironic? Single payer is no co-pays, no deductibles, no co-insurance, NO BILLS, no getting turned down, and no more health insurance industry. Like every other industrialized country. No one will ever have to claim bankruptcy because of medical bills, no one will ever lose their home because of medical bills. Let me repeat: NO MORE BILLS! No more DEBT because of medical bills. Everyone's covered, everyone's in, no one's out. No more losing your health care when you lose your job. No more astronomical unaffordable COBRA. Guess who's FOR single payer? A group called "most Americans". Guess who's AGAINST single payer? A minority consisting of the health insurance companies, rich Americans who don't need health coverage, Republicans, and Republicrats (moderate Democrats).



"Over the past 30 years, the income of the top 1 percent, adjusted for inflation, doubled: the top one-tenth of 1 percent tripled, and the top one-one-hundredth quadrupled," says Pizzigati. "Meanwhile, the average income of the bottom 90 percent has gone down slightly. This is a stunning transformation."
