The Tim Tebow story is a great one for ALL sports fans. The historically great Denver Broncos are in last place at 2-5 (2 wins, 5 losses). In comes young, raw, inexperienced Tim Tebow at quarterback and the Denver Broncos miraculously win 6 straight and the Broncos are suddenly in 1st place with an 8-5 record.
That's a great story for ALL football fans. Everyone loves an underdog. The only people who would not like this are possibly fans of the arch-rival Oakland Raiders. But not for any other reason except that they pull for their Raiders over their arch-rival Broncos.
In comes rightwing media: Rush Limbaugh, FOX "news" and the gang love to divide everyone. They accomplish this by continuously giving their listeners and viewers a "persecution complex": "THE LIBERALS" are always out to get them! Rightwing media MAKES UP the FAKE story that "LIBERALS HATE TIM TEBOW". Why? Because he's RELIGIOUS and WHITE. "The liberals" are once again persecuting GOD and THE WHITE MAN. This is a TWO-FER, a dream come true for rightwing media fake story fabricators. The rightwing media PROPAGANDA MASTERS start flooding their listeners and viewers with "liberals hate Tim Tebow" stories.
I'm a liberal, and I LOVE Tim Tebow. Every sports fan loves a story like what's happening with Tim Tebow and the Broncos. The one place there's no "left/right", no "Democrats/Republicans", no "liberals/conservatives", no "white/black/hispanic" is sports. Whites love Albert Pujols, Koby Bryant, and Troy Polamalu. Hispanics love Peyton Manning and Shaquille O'Neill. Blacks love Aaron Rodgers and Alex Rodriguez.

We were considered middle class then, dad worked and mom stayed home. My dad made about $20K per year. You would need an income of $440K for fuel to have the same impact on your finances as it did back then.
