  2. So many clueless dummies think George Harrison was a "class act" and a "good person", but they are so ignorant and unaware that during the production of the Badfinger "Straight Up" session the classy George Harrison abandoned the project in order to fry what he thought would be a bigger (more money to be made!) fish with the "Bangladesh" concert, so he recruited Todd Rundgren to finish production on the Badfinger record...after the album became somewhat of a success Harrison kicked and screamed and threatened to sue if he didn't get a huge sum of money even though he abandoned the project early on. I think all of the "Beatles", although they made some good music together, were nothing but a pack of greedy, money hungry pigs...look at how "John Lennon" turned his back on his oldest son...tell me that man was a loving human being....in my opinion, if you turn your back on your own children you are nothing but a piece of shit. period. Half of the Beatles are dead now, most likely the richest men in the graveyard...and Ringo Starr is arrogant about signing autographs now that he is famous...but when he was a nobody he would have signed his name anywhere....and as for Sir Paul...he is so consumed with his "fortune" that he is a warped, old man today....living in a prison with gold bars!!!!!! Great lives they lived, huh?!!!!!! In a few short years the graveyards will house all four Beatles...the four greedy, rich Beatles..what a success story.

  17. Venice, Louisiana (CNN) -- BP is lowering a second oil containment box in an effort to stop a weeks-long oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico, the company said.

A larger containment vessel was unsuccessful in stopping the flow of oil from the gusher about 5,000 feet underwater. The spill is sending 210,000 gallons of crude into the Gulf of Mexico each day.

The "top hat," a 5-foot-tall, 4-foot-diameter structure, weighs less than 2 tons. The structure is being deployed by the drill ship Enterprise.

BP built the smaller dome after a much larger, four-story containment vessel designed to cap the larger of two leaks in the well developed glitches Saturday. Ice-like hydrate crystals formed when gas combined with water and blocked the top of the dome, making it buoyant.

The new device would keep most of the water out at the beginning of the capping process and would allow engineers to pump in methanol to keep the hydrates from forming, said Doug Suttles, BP's chief operating officer for exploration and production. Methanol is a simple alcohol that can be used as an antifreeze.
