UPDATE: This is ironic, but this post was about Rush Limbaugh and the Batman movie BEFORE the shooting (Thursday July 19), which I touched upon Rush Limbaugh's (usual) inflammatory hate speech. Anything about the shooting the next day is an update to the original post. See "plunger"s comment about this below...is this shooter a Rush Limbaugh fan who heard his conspiracy rant (ironically posted below before the shooting) and thought the Batman movie would change the election results? WAS A DITTOHEAD INCITED BY RUSH LIMBAUGH??? One thing is for sure: the day before the shooting, RUSH LIMBAUGH turned the Batman movie into political theater with his insane rant! And all day yesterday (the day before the shooting), everywhere on the radio and TV, I heard, "BATMAN, BAIN, BANE, RUSH LIMBAUGH, ROMNEY BANE BAIN LIBERAL CONSPIRACY, BATMAN BATMAN, RUSH LIMBAUGH, etc..." Even on the NBC EVENING NEWS, I wrote on my blog, Brian Williams talked about Rush Limbaugh/Bane/Bain/Romney/liberal conspiracy! So, the very next day, we have the this shooting at a Batman movie! And THEN guess what? Rush Limbaugh has a GUEST HOST the day of the shooting! Surprise!!! You know why Rush Limbaugh had a guest host? Because SOMEONE had the decency to yank the JERK that would've been on the air the day of the shooting STILL preaching hatred, he would've been saying "THE LIBERALS DID IT!!!!!" or something like that. He would NEVER say, "Condolences to the families, I'll tone it down today". Whoever yanked Rush Limbaugh today made a very wise decision, it also happened to segue into 3 days off of hate speech because of the weekend. A WISER decision would be to PERMANENTLY yank him. Funny how all the major network news the day before the shooting covered how great and successful and how big the lines were for the Batman movie always mentioned Rush Limbaugh's rant along with the story. But the next day when they covered the Batman shooting, NONE OF THEM mentioned Rush's rant may have contributed to it or even mentioned his name. So, I guess as usual, I have to. FEMINAZIS, SLUTS, DRIVE-BY MEDIA, "THOSE PEOPLE", ETC...ETC...ETC...never a word about the BANKSTERS & WAR PROFITEERS really causing our problems.

Recall that Rush told his brain-dead, gun-loving audience that this Movie was going to be viewed by millions who would be brainwashed to avoid voting for Romney (therefor leaving Obama in office) because Americans are too stupid to distinguish Bane from Bain. Was Rush giving instructions to his listeners to take it upon themselves to frighten would-be movie-goes from seeing the movie? When Rush tells his audience that a movie can change the election results, his listeners believe it's true. Rush is in fact the person who promoted this alleged connection of Bane to Bain in the popular media more than any human on earth.

When these brainwashers have the power to compel their listeners to ACT based on a totally contrived and FALSE REALITY, real world events can and do result. But Rush didn't actually tell his listeners to take guns into the Batman screening and shoot parents and children - did he? Or did he?

Kicking "IN" an emergency exit is quite likely impossible in a building designed for public use with strict building code enforcement. If an accomplice on the inside kicked open the door (then fled) to allow the shooter's entry, it would simulate the sound that the door was kicked-open, creating the logical assumption that the door had been kicked-in.

A federal judge in Manhattan has ruled that Susan P. Lindauer,
a former journalist and Congressional aide who was accused of working
with Iraqi intelligence before the war, is still mentally incompetent to
stand trial. Ms. Lindauer, who had been declared incompetent for trial by Judge Michael B. Mukasey,
now the United States attorney general, tried to persuade a different
judge that she was now competent. But the second judge, Loretta A.
Preska [ruled] that while Ms. Lindauer
was “highly intelligent” and “generally capable of functioning at a
high level in many ways,” she also was suffering from a mental disease
or defect. Ms. Lindauer, 45, pleaded not guilty to the charges against her. Ms. Lindauer
... said by phone on Tuesday: “The right to a trial is fundamental in a
democracy. I have been fighting for a trial because I am innocent and I
believe I have the right to prove my innocence.” Judge Preska, in her
ruling, said that Ms. Lindauer

Note: How interesting that the first judge in Lindauer's, Michael Mukasey, case ended up becoming the U.S. attorney general. Mukasey also defended Larry Silverstein, owner of the lease on the World Trade Centers, in his claims for double insurance payments
of $7 billion on the attacks. Now according to the second judge,
Loretta Preska, she is "highly intelligent" yet incapable of

members. Romney became head of that management committee. From this
allegedly estranged post, he spent two years negotiating a lofty sum
while Bain’s lawyers and accountants unwound Romney’s involvement in the
company.
But during that time, Mitt Romney even referred to himself in public as CEO of Bain. Globe reporters Beth Healy and Michael Kranish found a press release issued by Bain alums Geoffrey S. Rehnert and Marc B.Wolpow (PDF), in which Romney was quoted as “Bain Capital CEO W. Mitt Romney, currently on a part-time leave of absence.”
The Globe also noted that to this day nobody has replaced
Romney atop Bain, which is still run by the management committee he
established.

ReplyDeleteI was a big Penn St fan. I am less and less into sports lately, but I was big time into sports. I remember Sandusky was the hottest thing, top assistant coach, every college wanted him to be the "next big thing", you know when an assistant coach gets a HUGE reputation, he's the "next big thing", his name is bantered around ALL the big name colleges as their next pick, to take him away from Penn St. Also, at the time (late '90's), they were saying he'd take over at Penn St because Paterno was old.
ReplyDeleteThen I'll never forget: he disappeared. And I remember wondering, what the hell happened to him? I actually used to ask other sports fans, "What the hell ever happened to Sandusky? He was supposed to either take over at Penn St or be the next head coach for the next big college open position?"
Well, now I know. I remember thinking how weird that was, that he disappeared, after being in the limelight so much at the time. Probably 1998 (?). The baton was supposed to be passed from Paterno to Sandusky, he was known as the best defensive coach in college football. Penn St was noted for their annual awesome defense. They always put many defensive players in the NFL: Mike Reid, Jack Ham, (both I believe in the NFL hall of fame), Lavar Arrington, I can go on and on. They had a conveyor belt of great defensive players going to the NFL. And Sandusky was noted as the great defensive coach bringing these guys along.
He and Paterno were legend. They didn't want to destroy the "myth" with this scandal. That's why they covered it up. Penn St always was noted as the "squeaky clean" college, too. Remember when Penn St played Miami for the championship, and Miami and Jimmy Johnson were the "bad guys", and Penn St and Joe Paterno were the "good guys"? Penn St won the championship 14-10, I'll never forget that.

six first-year neuroscience doctoral students. During the first year,
members were required to take core classes together, many in small

this person said. "He was very quiet, sometimes pensive, like when you
spoke to him it was almost like you were interrupting his thoughts."
Mr. Holmes's studies focused on how the brain works chemically and
psychologically, and the effect that has on human behavior. Mr. Holmes
was studying "chemistry and physics, but also brain anatomy and

When classes ended in May, the students were required to pass a
first-year test referred to as the "prelims." The school said students
had to stand before three professors and answer questions.
Shortly after the tests were done, the
classmate said, a neuroscience administrator took the group for drinks
to tell them Mr. Holmes had dropped out. The administrator said she
received a short resignation email from Mr. Holmes that didn't explain
why. Some assumed he had gone back to California.
Mr. Holmes hadn't been on campus since
June, though his program-cancellation paperwork remains unfinished,
according to a university spokesman.
About the time he applied to leave the
university, Mr. Holmes began buying thousands of rounds of ammunition
via the Web and purchased four guns over the past 60 days, including the

What can you tell us about that, Sir?
BENJAMIN NETANYAHU (Israeli Prime Minister): Well, first, I can say that we sympathize--that's not even the word--we deeply empathize with the American people over this tragic massacre in Colorado. You know, you're right, we experience these blood-lettings of innocents periodically, and we know that each time the American people stand with us, so we stand with you. And we-- we-- we say that with great profundity. We feel that grief that sweeps across the American people.
You asked about the London Olympics. Look, we've been witnessing over the last two years, an Iranian-sponsored global campaign, along with its sidekick, Hezbollah, to launch terror attacks against Israelis, and coincidently not only Israelis, they tried to murder the Saudi ambassador in Washington and they were willing to take several senators with him. That was a real possibility. So they've covered about twenty-four countries in five continents, including the attacks in Bulgaria and attack in Cyprus a few days before. They are-- we are vigilant about the possibility that they would attack elsewhere but I can't give specific detail.

ALAMEDA COUNTY - A tragic accident occurred yesterday afternoon in the
city of Berkeley involving a bicyclist and a dump truck. The bicyclist,
identified as a 65-year-old Shlomo Bentin, was found lying on Bancroft

They should deplore the captured politicians and regulators who distributed tax dollars to the banks without insisting that they be accountable. The American people should be revolted by a financial system that rewards failure and protects those who drove it to the point of collapse and will undoubtedly do so again.
Only with this appropriate and justified rage can we hope for the type of reform that will one day break our system free from the corrupting grasp of the megabanks.
