A memo being circulated by the distribution company behind Republican shock jock Rush Limbaugh has revealed a massive flight from Limbaugh’s program in the wake of his offensive comments about a Georgetown law student.

The companies include major corporate players like Sony, British Petroleum, McDonald’s, NBC, Toyota, Subway, Lowes, Autozone, Geico, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, State Farm, IBM and many others.

And in a surprise reveal, it appears that the U.S. Army is among them.

In all, 141 advertisers have left Limbaugh’s show so far, but just 50 were known before the memo surfaced. It shows that 91 additional companies have ditched not just Limbaugh, but right-wing radio talkers altogether, including Limbaugh acolytes Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. Limbaugh is often cited as the unofficial voice of the Republican Party.

I wrote this post in honor of the March 8th International Women's Day, which I didn't hear a word about in the "liberal media" or virtually ANY media.

Where did all these type of women go? Why aren't they protesting the GOP & rightwing media's turning the clock back on them with their "War On Women" going on in America, and the lack of coverage of the "War On Women" by the mainstream so-called "liberal media"? Where were all the stories in the mainstream "liberal" media when they just had the PERFECT OPPORTUNITY to juxtapose the Rush Limbaugh misogynist comments coinciding with International Women's Day? We're now down to SUPPOSED women "leaders" like: Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Liz Cheney...at least in the so-called mainstream media. "Controlled" under wraps FAKE women leaders who are also part of the American Taliban, trying to turn back the clock and betray their sisters. PRETENDING to be "women leaders". Women leaders IN the American Taliban, MARRIED to someone in the American Taliban, or BACKING the American Taliban...AREN'T WOMEN LEADERS. They're AMERICAN TALIBAN LEADERS! There needs to be an "OCCUPY THE AMERICAN TALIBAN" movement or an "OCCUPY THE WAR ON WOMEN" movement or an "OCCUPY RIGHTWING MEDIA" movement! And ESPECIALLY by WOMEN!

How can the most modern country have one of two major parties, in a time of endless wars, unemployment, and financial crisis, have one of its two major parties preoccupied with an obsession with women's vaginas? How can the Republican Party, or the American Taliban, possibly be getting away with it without going the way of the dinosaur? How can they still be getting candidates "elected" to office? Why aren't MILLIONS of women protesting a bunch of corrupt male politicians constantly legislation things that affect their bodies?

If the mainstream media was "liberal", which it isn't (it's OWNED by 5 major corporations), the phrases "War On Women" would be on the tip of everyone's tongues as much as "War On Terror" and "War On Drugs". We'd have mainstream media articles by real experts - psychologists and psychiatrists - explaining the affect of the GOP & rightwing media's "War On Women" on our population. They should be answering questions such as "Does the GOP & rightwing media's 'War On Women' cause more violence against women? How does it affect not only women but DITTOHEADS who constantly hear Rush Limbaugh refer to women, for 3 decades, as "feminazis", "sluts", and "prostitutes"? How does it affect the treatment of women when one of the major parties, the American Taliban, made up of virtually all men and many of them corrupt, keeps introducing legislation about women's bodies, birth control, and contraception like we're living in a 3rd world country? Why are the wives of the American Taliban putting up with their husbands doing this? Have they been affected by this and are rendered psychologically helpless and useless by their American Taliban husband politicians?

Why hasn't there been any in-depth investigative stories by the "liberal media" featuring the "WIVES OF THE AMERICAN TALIBAN", and why they sit idly by while their husbands write "War On Women" legislation?

This constant "War On Women" drumbeat by the GOP and rightwing media CANNOT STAND! The so-called "liberal media" has to start pointing out that there is a "War On Women" going on unchallenged like the U.S. is some 3rd world country. There needs to be a MILLION WOMAN MARCH on Washington and state governments controlled by the GOP that keep introducing legislation about women's bodies. It needs to be pointed out that this is NOT CONSERVATIVE to have BIG GOVERNMENT controlling women's bodies. Half the country is made up of women, or as Rush Limbaugh would say, "feminazis, sluts, & prostitutes", and you should be FREAKING OUT about the "War On Women" by the GOP and rightwing media. Only if the mainstream media was NOT "liberal", would they be getting away with this.

Comparing a powerful media character or politician using the entire weight (pun intended) to ridicule and intimidate a regular citizen (bullying) VS powerful media characters or politicians ridiculing EACH OTHER (equal standing in ability to fight back, THAT'S FAIR). Sandra Fluke is NOT a powerful media character or politician. THAT'S NOT THE SAME THING!

3. Comparing HBO (Bill Maher), something on past midnight that you PAY FOR vs hearing "SLUT"/"FEMINAZI"/"PROSTITUTE" and words like that from noon to 3 on ANY car radio or radio period while kids are most definitely around.
