That said, there's no reason to think the Feds wouldn't hijack the Anonymous persona and redirect in it the most gradual and undetectable way, given the opportunity. Whether that is presently the situation is not known by me. However the problem with a digital persona is that it is subject to being usurped and re-engineered as a Pied Piper under the control of Karl Rove or some other evil strategist, leading unwitting followers directly into a trap.
