For those on the right saying the Wall St protests are a contrived leftist scam, consider these points which are all points that it is a genuine protest as compared to a "Tea Party" protest, did any of this happen at ANY "Tea Party" protests:

1. Severe police brutality (beatings, pepper spray)
2. Mass arrests (700 in the Brooklyn Bridge incident alone)
3. Mainstream media virtually ignoring them for 3 weeks, no one even knew about it until we were into week 2 due to lack of media coverage.
4. They are protesting a huge entity - Wall St - committing fraud and gaming the market worldwide, stealing trillions and getting taxpayer bailouts.....not one "guy" like Obama, like the "Tea Party" always does. IE: they're not protesting "Newt Gingrich".
5. They ARE protesting the FED, contrary to what rightwing media is saying. People on the right are saying it's a rouse to NOT put heat on the FED. FALSE.

WHY ISN'T THE "TEA PARTY" JOINING THEM? ARE THEY "FOR" WALL ST COMMITTING FRAUD, STEALING TRILLIONS, GETTING BAILOUTS, ETC...? IF YOU LIST "PROS" AND "CONS" AS TO WHETHER THIS IS A GENUINE PROTEST, I JUST LISTED 5 PROS NONE OF WHICH APPLY TO THE "TEA PARTY".

NOW THIS DOESN'T MEAN WE SHOULDN'T EXAMINE IF THIS PROTEST IS CO-OPTED OR BEING CO-OPTED AS WE SPEAK. THAT'S A GOOD THING TO KEEP AN EYE ON. THE "TEA PARTY" STARTED BY RON PAUL WAS CO-OPTED BY THE ESTABLISHMENT GOP.

NYTimes 20 minutes later same story: "IN A TENSE SHOWDOWN OVER THE EAST RIVER, POLICE ARRESTED HUNDREDS OF OCCUPY WALL STREET DEMONSTRATORS AFTER THEY MARCHED ONTO THE BRIDGES' BROOKLYN-BOUND ROADWAY".

Who ordered the NYTimes to change the wording??? Was it Al Baker? Look at the by-line.

Neither is accurate. The video depicts the police LEADING protesters onto the bridge via a lane the police had closed for that purpose, then minutes later, blocked their subsequent forward movement and/or retreat - sequestering and arresting them - placing them in previously pre-positioned buses. THAT'S ENTRAPMENT VIA PIED PIPER TACTICS.

By all means - let's not describe precisely what happened.
