This is my humble opinion, but many people do agree with me all around the world. John Lennon and Paul McCartney were brilliant songwriters, but compared to Brian Wilson they didn't quite make the grade. If "SMILE" had been released back in the mid sixties The Beatles would have been finished. Paul McCartney admits that Pet Sounds is the best album ever recorded by any modern artist.
