About those body scanners...I'm guessing that some self-conscious young woman will develop an eating disorder as a result of these things. As a young woman, I can honestly say people are always judging you by the way you look. :( I've had overweight friends who are treated cruelly. (People tipping the tables as they walk by in a restaurant, making comments, etc.) Any woman is going to feel uncomfortable with a stranger staring at her naked body, even another woman. Women are always comparing themselves to each other. On the other hand, if you're slender and attractive, women are often mean, spreading rumors, treating you like you're stupid, pushing you into walls in high school, calling you 'Barbie,' etc. I wouldn't be surprised if some jealous woman could easily say she sees something suspicious on another woman's body and subject her to all sorts of humiliations...
