NEPA: Here's a good one: the same irresponsible companies that contaminated families' water are now being "trusted" to install systems to make their water safe! Now I've heard it all! Oh, this time they're not going to screw you! LOL! My next prediction (I seem to be good at these predictions): THE SYSTEMS TO MAKE YOUR WATER SAFE DON'T WORK!!! I have some advice for families anywhere near Marcellus Shale drilling: YOU are FUCKED and MOVE! They wrecked your paradise! Have them install a system to monitor your families for CANCER daily, not a system to clear your water up. Same thing with off shore drilling: "TRUST THEM"! When will people learn that corporations always put profits before safety?

Former GOP Executive Facing Prison Sentence For CHILD PORN

" Shane Ostrowski, a former lobbyist and Republican political consultant, is expected to plead guilty this month to possession of child pornography.
The 39-year-old Bexley resident faces up to 10 years in prison for having more than 300 pornographic images. He is expected to plead guilty in federal court May 20 to a bill of information, a court process that allows him to avoid a grand-jury indictment.
Ostrowski's attorney, Ian Friedman, said the sentencing guidelines call for about six to seven years in prison.
"Shane has enough positive qualities, characteristics and life history that we're hopeful the sentence would be even lower than the guideline range," Friedman said.
Ostrowski was part of the Ohio team that the Republican Party sent to Florida to observe the presidential recount in 2000, was a regional field representative and political director for the Ohio GOP, ran Betty D. Montgomery's campaign for governor in 2006, and was executive director of the Virginia Republican Party.
He more recently worked as director of government affairs for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Ohio, but he was no longer employed there as of October.
Under the plea agreement, Ostrowski would forfeit all seized computers and would register as a sex offender in Ohio and any other state where that is required.
"Shane has accepted responsibility," Friedman said. "It is clear this appears to be aberrant behavior. There are countless people who know what has occurred who will still be standing in that courtroom to support him."

Perhaps the new airport body scanners are a bit too revealing.
A TSA worker in Miami was arrested for aggravated battery after police say he attacked a colleague who'd made fun of his small genitalia after he walked through one of the new high-tech security scanners during a recent training session.
Rolando Negrin, 44, was busted for assault after things got ugly at Miami International Airport between Negrin and some of his fellow Transportation Security Administration workers on Tuesday.
Sources say Negrin stepped into the machine during the training session and became embarrassed and angry when a supervisor started cracking jokes about his manhood, made visible by the new machine.

The new groups could give Republicans and their allies a powerful campaign apparatus separate from the Republican National Committee. Karl Rove, political architect of the Bush presidency, and Ed Gillespie, former Republican Party chairman, are the most prominent forces behind what is, in effect, a network of five overlapping groups, three of which were started in the past few months.
The operating assumption of Rove, Gillespie and the other organizers is that despite the historical dominance of Republican fundraising and organizing, the GOP has been outmaneuvered by Democrats and their allies in recent years, and it is time to strike back.
“Where they have a chess piece on the board, we need a chess piece on the board,” said Gillespie, who is involved in all five groups in roles ranging from chairman to informal adviser. “Where they have a queen, we shouldn’t have three pawns.”

Deep beneath the Gulf, oil may be wreaking havoc

NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- The oil you can't see could be as bad as the oil you can.
While people anxiously wait for the slick in the Gulf of Mexico to wash up along the coast, globules of oil are already falling to the bottom of the sea, where they threaten virtually every link in the ocean food chain, from plankton to fish that are on dinner tables everywhere.
"The threat to the deep-sea habitat is already a done deal - it is happening now," said Paul Montagna, a marine scientist at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Hail-size gobs of oil the consistency of tar or asphalt will roll around the bottom, while other bits will get trapped hundreds of feet below the surface and move with the current, said Robert S. Carney, a Louisiana State University oceanographer.
Oil has been gushing into the Gulf of Mexico at a rate of at least 200,000 gallons a day since an offshore drilling rig exploded last month and killed 11 people. On Wednesday, workers loaded a 100-ton, concrete-and-steel box the size of a four-story building onto a boat and hope to lower it to the bottom of the sea by week's end to capture some of the oil. Crews also set fires at the worst spots on the surface Wednesday to burn off oil.
Scientists say bacteria, plankton and other tiny, bottom-feeding creatures will consume oil, and will then be eaten by small fish, crabs and shrimp. They, in turn, will be eaten by bigger fish, such as red snapper, and marine mammals like dolphins.
The petroleum substances that concentrate in the sea creatures could kill them or render them unsafe for eating, scientists say.

Site Intelligence finds are not only timely for Israel, when the world is focused on claims they have been planning a ‘dirty bomb’ attack to send the US to war against Iran, but always tend to support mysterious organizations run from the caves of the Afghanistan/Pakistan border region.
SMOKING GUN?
After the demise of Iraq, victim of falsified intelligence, now eliminated as an Israeli competitor, all eyes turned to Pakistan, Islam’s only nuclear state. To establish footholds to destabilize Pakistan, a pro-Indian/Israeli government under President Karzai was installed in Kabul.
After 9 years, no evidence of any terrorist activity involved in 9/11 has been found in Afghanistan. The great “net” meant to catch Osama bin Laden and armies of Al Qaeda terrorists came up empty. Instead, we are told from reliable sources that Arab nations friendly to the US released criminals, transporting them to Afghanistan.
These “foreign fighters” actually little more than “extras” in a massive global theatre, kept the small US forces engaged for years, all without any purpose other than to establish that a terrorist organization must have been in Afghanistan because there certainly was one after 2002.
SURROGATE WARFARE ON PAKISTAN
In addition to installing a government that would work directly with Israel and India to organize terrorist attacks on Pakistan, funding to destabilize the oil and gas rich republics of the former Soviet Union had to be raised.
Opium production under the Taliban had been eliminated. The new government quickly began a resurgence of opium production and heroin processing. Aided by agents of the Indian RAW and Israeli Mossad, the governments of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan quickly fell under the influence of the 65 billion dollar a year Afghanistan drug empire.
Though the drugs may have been from Afghanistan, multiple intelligence agencies from Israel, India, Turkey and others, aided by military contracting firms contracted to the CIA, carried this plan forward.
Continual news stories tying Pakistan to failures to suppress terrorism or rumoring involvement in terrorism themselves flowed onto the world scene through western mainstream media, providing a clear footprint of a classic Mossad operation.
NO SO “UNEXPECTED”
With the demise of Al Qaeda, an unnamed Taliban organization with a website only visible to one person on earth has now declared a mysterious and shadowy war against the United States, in New York City, a city under tight security but one with a very large Israeli/Mossad presence.
