CPAC brings JC Watts out of retirement to freestyle rap:

JC Watts, the last black Republican (2002), comes out of retirement to participate in the CPAC Freestyle Rap contest: "There's not much rapping going on"



(note: in case anyone hasn't noticed, I have a recurring funny on this blog about JC Watts being the last black Republican in congress...which is true. 2002 look it up. The GOP will be having a decade celebration soon on being "black-free". I take advantage of it every chance I get! LOL!!!!!!! For those of you with no sense of humor, NO, JC Watts didn't actually come out of retirement to freestyle rap at CPAC. I better say that, or some idiot will be saying: "Hey, did you hear? JC Watts came out of retirement to freestyle rap at CPAC - COOOOOL!!!!!! The Republicans are 'hip'!!!!!!!!!")

Roosevelt called for recognition of a "Second Bill of Rights."

On New Year's Eve, The Washington Post published an article by The Fiscal Times on Page A10 -- ostensibly its "News" section -- that aggressively promoted the creation of a task force to reduce the deficit through cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. (BD: NOT by cutting the #1 expenditure more than all others combined: the endless wars!). In a note at the end of the article, the Post described The Fiscal Times as "an independent digital news publication reporting on fiscal, budgetary, health-care and international economics issues." The Post did not note that the purportedly "independent" Fiscal Times is funded by conservative billionaire Peter G. Peterson, whose organizations have for years been advocating deficit reduction through cuts to important programs and have advocated for the creation of such a task force.

David Grohl was the drummer in Nirvana. Nirvana broke up when Kurt Cobain killed himself, and David Grohl started the Foo Fighters, sliding over from drums to guitar, vocals, and songwriting. A super talent and one of the best drummers in rock history, too.

The term foo fighter was used by Allied aircraft pilots in World War II to describe various UFOs or mysterious aerial phenomena seen in the skies over both the European and Pacific Theater of Operations.

Though "foo fighter" initially described a type of UFO reported and named by the U.S. 415th Night Fighter Squadron, the term was also commonly used to mean any UFO sighting from that period.[1]

Formally reported from November 1944 onwards, witnesses often assumed that the foo fighters were secret weapons employed by the enemy, but they remained unidentified post-war and were reported by both Allied and Axis forces. Michael D. Swords[2] writes,

During WWII, the foo fighter experiences of [Allied] pilots were taken very seriously. Accounts of these cases were presented to heavyweight scientists, such as David Griggs, Luis Alvarez and H.P. Robertson. The phenomenon was never explained. Most of the information about the issue has never been released by military intelligence.
