ReplyDeleteWhy is there no mention anywhere, including Wikipedia, that the so-called "crotch bomber" Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's father, Umaru Mutallab, who reported him to CIA officials at the US embassy in Nigeria, was formerly the Chief Accountant/Acting General Manager/Financial Controller of Nigeria's largest arms company, Defence Industries Corporation? Wikipedia only states that he is a wealthy "banker" with no mention of his high level work in the arms industry. As recently as late 2008, Israeli Mossad was negotiating with Nigerian intelligence to "train" them. And now lo and behold, we have a Nigerian national accused of being an Al Qaeda terrorist. Could Mossad be possibly training Al Qaeda operatives to foment fear, anger and policy change in Washington? Was Abdulmutallab's father aware that his son was potentially being set up, thus his pre-emptive warning? Who is purposely keeping the father's weapons industry background off of his Wikipedia entry?

Ben Pavone, California Lawyer, Refuses To Pay Bank Of America Credit Card, Threatens To Sue
Ben Pavone told Bank of America in a letter last week that he refuses to pay off his credit card debt until the bank lowers his interest rate. And, he added, if they try to ruin his credit, he'll sue 'em.
"They've got to have some kind of obligation to not totally extort the public," said Pavone.
The San Diego, Calif. attorney is angry about two things: his interest rate, which has gone up to 27.99 percent, and his credit limit, which has gone down to just above his balance. "I'm sure I'm going to be hit with penalties," he said.

Chalk this one up to Stupid Criminals
ReplyDeleteYesterday a local sheriff deputy spot three guys breaking into a house. They jumped in their car and took off with the deputy in pursuit.
Upon reaching a high school in the area they pulled into the parking lot near the track and football field and bailed. Two of them took off across the parking lot and onto the football field where teams were practicing.
The practicing teams? Off duty sheriff and police officers practicing for the annual charity "Guns and Hoses" football game which they play against the fire department. They soon found themselves being chased and ultimately tackled by about 50 officers in full football attire!
"This little computer," said the sales clerk, "will do half of your job for you."
