Big Dan's Big News Jan 24, 2010

Cornel West, another liberal blacklisted from corporate owned so-called "liberal" TV (like Ralph Nader, Cynthia McKinney, Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky, and all the other real liberals), has a message for Obama on the one year anniversary of his presidency: "How deep is your love for poor and working people?"

The truth is, the corporate owned TV "news" ANBCBSNNX blacklists the real liberals, some of whom I've listed above, so you don't know about them. THEN...they define a group of people they let on TV and call them "liberal" for you, so you don't know who real liberal are. TV liberals are people like Obama and 95% of the Democrats. Real liberals are the ones giving the fake liberals the heat. You conservatives have the same, exact problem on the right: they don't let real conservatives on TV and then put a group of people on TV and call them "conservatives". Those people are 95% of the Republicans and people like Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh. This is sheer genius by corporate TV to keep Americans in the dark as to who the real liberals and conservatives are. And ironically, real liberals and real conservatives have a lot of common ground, just as the fake liberals and fake conservatives, do. The fakesters common group is that they are bought and paid for by corporations and the extreme wealthy and really represent them, and not us. And there is very little in common between the real liberals and the fake liberals, and the real conservatives and the fake conservatives. Example: Ron Paul and Rush Limbaugh have nothing in common, I don't even think Ron Paul likes Rush Limbaugh. YET...Rush Limbaugh falsely claims he is a "conservative". They agree on nothing. But the TV tells you Rush Limbaugh is the "conservative" and you believe it. Rush Limbaugh (fake conservative) and Obama (fake liberal) are for the wars, and Ron Paul (real conservative) and Ralph Nader and Cornel West (real liberals) are against the wars. Corporate owned TV is deceiving all of us on all sides that aren't corporations or the extremely wealthiest 1%. And guess who owns them? I'll give you a hint: corporations and the extreme wealthiest own them.

I have more "freedom of speech" than you, because I have more money to give to politicians! - Money McMoneyhead

In its ruling in the case of Citizens United v. FEC, the Supreme Court unraveled campaign-finance laws that stood for more than a century. The court was originally presented with a relatively narrow legal issue in the case, but chose instead to consider a much broader question: whether to roll back laws that have limited the role of corporate money in federal elections since Theodore Roosevelt was president. Now the court has handed down its ruling, and made a terrible mistake in giving corporate money a breathtaking new role in federal campaigns.

  3. Walmart to Cut 11,200 Sam’s Club Jobs, Cornell Says (Update1)

    By Chris Burritt

Jan. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the world’s largest retailer, will eliminate about 11,200 jobs at its Sam’s Club membership warehouse clubs as it hires an outside company to demonstrate products.

About 10,000 demonstration employees, most part-time, will lose their jobs when Shopper Events takes over sampling, Sam’s Club Chief Executive Officer Brian Cornell told employees today in a memo. The company also is cutting about 1,200 membership recruiting jobs, or about two in each of the club’s U.S. stores.

Sam’s Club is working with Shopper Events to develop in- store demonstrations, such as food sampling, currently performed by Sam’s employees, Cornell said. The effort is aimed at improving demonstrations in the areas of food and beverages, personal wellness and electronics, according to the memo.

These cuts are separate from Walmart’s announcement on Jan. 11 that it will close 10 Sam’s Club locations and eliminate about 1,500 jobs, David Tovar, a spokesman for Bentonville, Arkansas-based Walmart, said today in a telephone interview. The chain, the second-largest membership warehouse club after Costco Wholesale Corp., employs about 110,000 people, Tovar said.

70-year gag on Kelly death evidence

    24.01.10

Evidence relating to the death of Government weapons inspector David Kelly is to be kept secret for 70 years, it has been reported.

A highly unusual ruling by Lord Hutton, who chaired the inquiry into Dr Kelly's death, means medical records including the post-mortem report will remain classified until after all those with a direct interest in the case are dead, the Mail on Sunday reported.

And a 30-year secrecy order has been placed on written records provided to Lord Hutton's inquiry which were not produced in evidence.

The Ministry of Justice said decisions on the evidence were a matter for Lord Hutton. But Liberal Democrat MP Norman Baker, who has conducted his own investigations into Dr Kelly's death, described the order as "astonishing".

  7. David Kelly post mortem to be kept secret for 70 years as doctors accuse Lord Hutton of concealing vital information

    By Miles Goslett
Last updated at 11:28 PM on 23rd January 2010

Vital evidence which could solve the mystery of the death of Government weapons inspector Dr David Kelly will be kept under wraps for up to 70 years.

In a draconian – and highly unusual – order, Lord Hutton, the peer who chaired the controversial inquiry into the Dr Kelly scandal, has secretly barred the release of all medical records, including the results of the post mortem, and unpublished evidence.

The move, which will stoke fresh speculation about the true circumstances of Dr Kelly’s death, comes just days before Tony Blair appears before the Chilcot Inquiry into the Iraq War.

It is also bound to revive claims of an establishment cover-up and fresh questions about the verdict that Dr Kelly killed himself.

  9. Try this on for size,.. the Neo-Cons wanted their Iraq oil war so badly because it was a war profiteers boondoggle of the greatest magnitude. Kelly was about to out the illegal oil war and the war profiteers and derail their champagne party of treasonous war profits - so they off him to shut him the fuck up.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

So, I guess they're thinking that in 70 years all of us that know they killed Kelly will be dead as well.

I just will always wonder why Judith Miller (liar and warmonger extraordinaire) was one of his last email correspondents. (????????)

    +++++++++++++++

    Links:

**** Judith Miller was connected to Scooter Libby (Aspen Tree Thing)
and Scooter Libby worked for Dick Cheney.

**** Kelly told Miller that Iraq had no WMDs and or Biological/Chemical Weapons .....
Miller told Libby and then Libby told Cheney and then the "hit" (Blackwater/Xe) was put into
motion so as to keep the Iraq war on schedule to start early spring .

**** Then Miller as payoff - was given a front row seat - embedded with the troops ... getting the big story of the war!!! - to fatten her resume and endear Judith Miller to be press scribe for the fascist Neo-Con war monger/profiteer - gang of Zionist capitalists.

You butter my bread,.. I'll butter yours - country club mindset. God Bless us,.. and fuck everyone else. Amen.

A Pennsylvania man who questioned an off-duty state police officer about parking a pick-up truck in the fire lane of a grocery store ended up having cops follow him home, beating him up and arresting him on disorderly conduct charges.

Ron Doyle was also charged with DUI, but he said he didn’t drink until after he got home from the store. His blood-alcohol content level was .108, which is above the legal limit of .08.

Police say he was belligerent, insulting and took an “aggressive stance” when he opened the door.

He said they were the aggressive ones, kicking his door in when he did not open it immediately. He said they also tackled him to the floor where he ended up with several cuts to his face.

More at link and witness statements,..
