safeguards in the system. In his new column, Paul Krugman thanks JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon for offering "an object demonstration of why Wall Street does, in fact, need to be regulated."
And yet, somehow, some still don't see it that way. On NBC's "Meet

Preibus, common sense be damned, argued that the JPMorgan mess changes
nothing.
Host David Gregory asked a straightforward question: "In light of the
losses on Wall Street this week, you think we need less financial
regulation rather than more?" In Preibus' mind, it's not even a close
call: "I think we need less." The RNC chief added that Democrats have
"made things worse" by approving new safeguards and adding new layers of
accountability to the financial system.
It reminded me of an Upton Sinclair line: "It is difficult to get a

criminals, a hierarchy of respect exists, as rapists, serial killers,
and child molesters are the least respected of criminals within the
penitentiary system and the most likely to receive a brutal beating for
their sins while incarcerated.

This circumstance is entirely predictable. History is replete with examples. When the Hunt Brothers cornered the Silver market, the BECAME THE MARKET. When your holdings become so vast, there are NO BUYERS when it's time to exit your trade. Few things in finance can be more obvious. ReplyDeleteHere's the truth. This is actually the FED doing this. They call it JP Morgan or Goldman, but it's all the FED. For the past six-plus years, the President's Working Group On Financial Markets (Plunge Protection Team) has been active in the market every day. The alleged financial data they release (Conference Board = FED) re: cosumer confidence, employment, consumer confidence etc., - all totally bullshit.
The only reason Dimon made the announcement after the Market closed last Thursday, is because the FED told him to wait until then, so they could FIX the problem in the pre-market the following morning, by releasing "better-than-expected" consumer data the next day, thereby supporting the broader "market" - which is in reality, not a market at all.
Trading volume is non-existent. I predicted all of this years ago (2004 - see below). I said they would take it through a phase of maximum volatility (which I referred to as "Whipsaw Theory"), which like any science experiment, would result in waves less severe until such time as the alleged market was exhausted, and flatlined (no trading volume - paralyzed/exhausted - a deer in the headlights).

that two Fox News contributors have suggested that Americans unhappy
with domestic surveillance drones may take action into their own
hands—and perhaps become heroes.
On Monday, the FAA released new rules
governing the use of surveillance drones (or unmanned aerial vehicles)
by domestic public safety agencies, such as law enforcement and fire
departments. Interested agencies can apply for expedited approval of
drones weighing up to 25 pounds. The drones may not fly higher than 400
feet and must be in sight of an operator at all times. They also cannot
fly near airports.
That day, columnist Charles Krauthammer said on Special Report,
“I would predict—I’m not encouraging, but I'm predicting—the first guy
who uses a Second Amendment weapon to bring a drone down that's been
hovering over his house is going to be a folk hero in this country. ...
I'm not encouraging, I'm simply making a prediction.”
The next morning, on Fox and Friends, Anthony Napolitano echoed Krauthammer’s statements, even taking them a little further:
When the president bombed Libya, the Congress looked the
other way. Now the president wants to dispatch plastic drones to spy on
Americans. It would be reprehensible for the Congress to look the other

ReplyDeleteKeep in mind, transaction volume on Wall Street had totally dried up in recent months, made worse by the "Sell in May and go away" mantra. Wall Streets Banksters make fees on every transaction, be it the buy-side or the sell-side. The best of all worlds is when they create a whipsaw, and cause a buy and a sell on the same day, followed by yet another buy into the hands of a whale (three transaction fees on the exact same stock in the space of one hour is as good as it gets)....
FB came public today. Tomorrow the stories will come out about NASDAQ glitches re: failed or non-existent order confirmations leading to a precipitous drop in volume/orders, and the resulting drop in the share price of FB from its opening price north of $42 down to the Syndicate Price of $38. All of this price action will be attributed to incompetence or system-overload or some other hogwash. Keep in mind that retail buyers in particular would likely set stop-loss orders to sell in the event the price dropped X% below what they purchased it for - and that these orders would be priced north of $38, in the $38-$39 range. Further, I note that the operators who brought this public held back a cool $1 billion in cash, allegedly to be used at some future date to buy additional shares if/when the stock ever traded back to it's Syndicate Price of $38 (they were prohibited from buying additional shares at any price above that with this $1 Billion set-aside).
I watched CNBS and listened intently for the 'tells" prior to the beginning of trading. First, they delayed the trading start time from 11:00 to 11:30, with immense hand-wringing and anxiety-creation generated by the paid-actors on-set. One of these actors stated he had received a note from an insider at Morgan Stanley that if the shares traded below $40 - "look out below". As if on-cue, Cramer chimed-in about how every order was shockingly
filled, to the great surprise of all, and that now many would be looking
to sell half of their allocations.
This intentionally set the perceptional-stage for the retail traders to watch nervously as the buy-orders they had filled north of $42 soon went upside down, falling below $40, and then below $39, as the talking heads screamed that it was the end of the world for FB, the markets, and social networking stocks in general.
Low and behold, after all the limit-loss orders were taken out enroute to $38 (freeing up those shares for purchase - leaving their original owners with a 10-20% trading loss in the initial hour, in stepped the white shoe boys with non-stop bidding at precisely $38, sucking up every stop-loss order and panicked (at market) seller, only to turn the entire thing north again, having fleeced the retail viewers of CNBS once again. THIS ENTIRE CHARADE WAS PLANNED AND IMPLEMENTED TO PERFECTION, AND INCLUDED CO-CONSPIRATORS ALL THE WAY UP TO THE HEAD OF NASDAQ - IN MY OPINION.
The big boys know that CNBS is merely a propaganda factory designed specifically to help the banksters separate the sheeple from their money. Investigations into what possibly could have gone wrong will lead nowhere, as the SEC is in on the game. The banksters will have hit their bonuses, and enjoy their summer home in the Hamptons.
THERE IS NO MARKET.

ReplyDeleteDid you ever think of this: floor 1 held up 2-110 for decades. floor 2 held up 3-110 for decades, floor 3 held up 4-110 for decades, so the floors obviously were made to bear the load above them...... So we get to the floor where the "event" occurred, the floor we refer to as where the plane hit. Now there's a fire there and if it was jet fuel, jet fuel is kerosene. So the kerosene ignites and blows off very quickly. Very high up on let's say the 100th floor. Then the "official" story says "pancake theory": the floor collapsed where the fire was, hit the next floor, it the next floor. Why did the floors all fall when they've been proven to hold each other up for decades? There was NO EXTRA WEIGHT. The same floors that held each other up for decades were still the only weight that has always been. Why didn't a floor fall and that was it? Just 1 floor fell and stopped? Do you think the fire on the floor where the event happened, caused floors 1-100 to totally collapse free fall speed? Look at that picture again in the top of this post. Even if the top 10 floors fell all at once from the fire point upwards, the weight of those 10 floors was always being held up by the bottom 100 floors for decades, as they were designed.
If floors 1-100 held up 100-110 since the building was put up, how can floors 100-110 knock down floors 1-100?

ReplyDeleteFor the floors to "Pancake" in the manner we see occurring something is required to destroy the interior and exterior columns to which those floors are attached.
ReplyDeleteIn a true Pancake scenario the floor slab of a floor would need to drop onto the floor below and those slabs drop to the next floor below etc. Each of these floor slabs would have to break free of the exterior and interior support columns. It is those columns which hold the entire weight of the building. The floor slabs themselves only hold the weight of their own slab and the items upon them. The weight of one extra floor slab could probably still be supported by the floor below, but a true Pancake episode should have either left the columns standing or drag them down in a twisted mass, NOT broken into relatively small pieces hurled 100's of feet away from the building.
