New NEPA "vote for change" congressmen Barletta and Marino vote FOR fascist "patriot" act renewal, in full agreement with the Obama White House...just like Kanjorksi & Carney. Some change, huh???


Some of you may know that the US House voted on whether to extend certain expiring provisions of the USA Patriot Act. Three of those provisions are most unacceptable to us as liberty-minded people. The roll call vote is published at the following location: http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2011/roll026.xml. The renewal vote, thankfully, FAILED to pass. Unfortunately, our two congressmen from NEPA, Mr. Barletta and Marino, both voted to renew those provisions. What this means is that we need to generate some “pain” by letting them hear from us. Time to express DISSATISFACTION over their actions. Call their offices. Also, plan to show up at their next town hall meetings. Mr. Barletta has stated he intends to hold them monthly. His next one should then be in March. As soon as I know the date, I will get it out to all of you.
