ReplyDeleteThe media doesn't perceive itself to be corrupt. It perceives itself to be a business, and accepts billions of dollars from the government (see all of the military service ads on TV) and the political power brokers (see all of the political ads on TV), and from BIG BUSINESS (see all of the pharma etc. ads on TV) - and understand that the owners of big media like MONEY - and don't like it when advertisers refuse to spend money on their network. Only by removing money from politics is it possible for the media to report NEWS. However that is a debate and a story you will never see broadcast - because it does not serve them - thus the need for PUBLIC TELEVISION and free public channels for political debate.
ReplyDeleteObviously the shark has been fully jumped at this point, and the government now controls the message entirely - up to and including the total co-opting of the NFL - as witnessed by every major national telecast including flyover, uniform troops, messages from the front, coaches visiting the troops, etc.
The NFL is part of the propaganda machine, and receives government money for its cooperation - as does the MSM.
If the American people were ever in charge of THE PEOPLE'S MONEY, they would never approve of the way it is being spent.

But New Yorker reporter Raffi Khatchadourian delves deep into Assange's past and we learn about the abbreviated childhood that shaped his obsessions. Assange for a time lived on the tiny Magnetic Island off the coast of Australia. He was homeschooled, grew up riding horses and making rafts, and when he was eight his mom hooked up with a musician. Things got weird:
The musician became abusive, she says, and they separated. A fight ensued over the custody of Assange's half brother, and Claire felt threatened, fearing that the musician would take away her son. Assange recalled her saying, "Now we need to disappear," and he lived on the run with her from the age of eleven to sixteen. When I asked him about the experience, he told me that there was evidence that the man belonged to a powerful cult called the Family-its motto was "Unseen, Unknown, and Unheard." Some members were doctors who persuaded mothers to give up their newborn children to the cult's leader, Anne Hamilton-Byrne. The cult had moles in government, Assange suspected, who provided the musician with leads on Claire's whereabouts.
NOTE:
The CIA has a long history of "turning" would-be jail dwellers into assets. It is my contention that Joe Scarborough, Larry Kudlow, Jim Cramer and others fit into this category.
At present, their primary job is to NEVER allow for the truth of 9/11 to be revealed - and to keep attention focused everywhere else - as the truth of 9/11 is the ONLY THING that can end their reign of terror against we the people.
