Well, here you have it: if you don't sign a Marcellus Shale lease, they want to take the gas out of your property whether you want them to or not. It's called "FORCED POOLING". Isn't that nice? It's a "key element" says David Spigelmyer, Chesapeake Energy's regional vice president for government relations. A "key element" - isn't that nice? It's not STEALING FROM YOU IF YOU DON'T SIGN A LEASE...it's a "key element" to them "moving forward" for the good of everyone*. (* everyone = The Reckless Drillers) See? So don't be a WHINER and someone who isn't a TEAM PLAYER and SHUT THE FUCK UP if you don't sign a lease and some guys from Texas and Oklahoma STEAL the gas from you anyway, because it's a "key element" to any legislation...that they get to STEAL your gas!!! If you don't play along, YOU are a RECKLESS LANDOWNER!!! Now, even though I heard them on the radio say when questioned about "eminent domain" that they would never do that...it's in the proposed legislation to do just that. But they're not LYING about it!!! And what about this state senator that's going along with it? And about taxing them...TAX THE HELL OUT OF THEM!!! Tax them @ 25% or more! At least we'll get something out of it, because they're going to drill no matter what...thanks to our "government". But don't you know? It's a private/public venture!!! Look up the definition of fascism, as I've been saying lately...it's the blending of corporations and government. Socialism ain't lookin' so bad lately to me...it's better than FASCISM!!! But then again, it's not FASCISM...it's a "public/private venture" for the good of all, just like the kill switch of the internet for the president I posted yesterday. Al Qaeda's First English Language Magazine Is Here
As the U.S. struggles to manage its efforts to influence opinion about Al Qaeda abroad, Al Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula has produced its first English-language propaganda magazine.
It's called "Inspire," and you can read parts of it below. A U.S. official confirmed that the pages correspond to the version its open-source collectors had obtained.
"Inspire" includes a "message to the people of Yemen" directly transcribed from Ayman Al-Zawahari, Al Qaeda's second in command, a message from Osama Bin Laden on "how to save the earth," and the cover includes a quotation from Anwar Al-Awlaki, the American born cleric who is believed to be directly connected to the attempt to destroy an airplane over Detroit by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab on Christmas Day. (The director of the National Counterterrorism Center, Michael Leiter, made that disclosure at a security forum in Aspen, CO, Fox News reported.)
The table of contents teases an interview with the leader of AQAP who promises to "answer various questions pertaining to the jihad in the Arabian Peninsula." It includes a feature about how to "make a bomb in the kitchen of your mom."
AQAP's first effort to post the magazine to jihadist websites failed Wednesday, as many of the pages were contaminated with a virus. (I half seriously believe that U.S. cyber warriors might have had a hand in that little surprise.)
The U.S. is quite worried about Al Qaeda's new publishing ambitions, which mark a more sophisticated effort to engage the English-language world and to recruit English-speaking Muslims to join the cause.
The copy was obtained from a private researcher. AQAP had advertised for days that the magazine would appear with the interviews specified in the table of contents. It is possible, although not likely, that the magazine is a fabrication, a production of a Western intelligence agency that wants to undermine Al Qaeda by eroding confidence in its production and distribution networks. The U.S. is engaged in direct net-based warfare with jihadis; this sort of operation would not be too difficult to pull off.

Forced pooling is another variation of eminent domain -- where a gas company takes property or property rights under the badge of government. States like Pennsylvania and New York will see more eminent domain “takings” thanks to drilling the gas-rich Marcellus Shale.

Our experience with eminent domain and energy companies took place in Bedford County, Pennsylvania; and the eminent domain "taking" was in order to construct a 12-billion-cubic-feet underground natural gas storage reservoir. (More pipelines are being constructed in connection with this facility.) The power of eminent domain was given to this company, Houston-based Spectra Energy, by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Property owners are now living with the adverse effects of this facility. Spectra Energy has had ongoing operational problems at this underground natural gas storage facility (which includes 13 injection/withdrawal wells and approval to use frac fluids with toxic chemicals).
This includes emergency shutdowns which result in uncontrolled release of gas (toxic volatile organic compounds) and sometimes oily contaminate into the air (and on nearby properties).
