Lucky Press Happens To Be In Afghanistan, While Prince Harry Is Serving On The Front Lines

As bullets and missiles fly overhead, Britain's Prince Harry, above, enjoys a laugh as he sits with one of his "mates" from a group of Gurkha soldiers (or maybe an extra from The Wizard Of Oz or Time Bandits). The prince has just fired a machine gun from an observation post in Helmand province, Southern Afghanistan in January. The 23-year-old, an officer in the Household Cavalry regiment, has spent the past 10 weeks secretly serving in the volatile southern province.

While he was secretly serving on the front lines, a camera crew happened to be lost in the area for those exact same 10 weeks of his secret deployment on the front lines, and captured his every move on film. Miraculously, no one in the area, including the film crew, was hurt during this period of time, even though the famous Prince Harry was putting his fellow soldiers and the camera crew unnecessarily in harms way, due to his fame.

The "Drudge Report", a credible American news site, is said to have leaked Prince Harry's "secret" whereabouts on the front lines in Afghanistan. Prince Harry is shown below, playing hacky-sack with Matt Drudge of the "Drudge Report" in Afghanistan....trying their best to avoid mines and enemy fire on the front lines. Matt Drudge to Prince Harry: "Hey, Harry! Pass the hacky-sack ball to ME!"

Below: Prince Harry avoiding mines while riding his motorcycle that happens to be on the front lines in Afghanistan. "Gimme a push, there, Bub!" (Watch out for those mines, Harry!)

Prince Harry tells the Press Association about his mother Princess Diana, an outspoken anti-war activist, "Hopefully she would be proud of me, you know, shooting Arabs 'n stuff. Promoting war, 'n stuff like that."

Now that the story of Prince Harry being on the front lines in Afghanistan is "out in the open", the British Ministry of Propaganda has announced that, even though the heroic prince wants to stay, he must leave due to endangering his fellow soldiers. The other soldiers also wanted to go home because their lives were in danger simply by being there, but the requests were denied. Only Prince Harry can go home.

Below: Prince Harry & the film crew (reflected in his glasses).

● William F. Buckley's Legacy: We're Soaking In It. In more concrete terms, Buckley's "respectable conservatism" strives to give more wealth to the wealthy, and more power to the powerful, and a big fat middle finger to everybody else. This agenda is obviously and completely at odds with the desires and needs of at least 99% of the population, so back when America was a democracy, there was no tougher job than making this agenda of greed seem like a "respectable" political "philosophy". And William F. Buckley was better at that job than anyone.

● Nation Mourns Loss of Major Moral Cretin: William F. Buckley.

● Responding to my eulogy to William F. Buckley, some readers noted that Buckley had written a notorious column during the 1980s calling for AIDS victims to be tattooed on their rear ends. For one responder this was eerily reminiscent of Nazi policies.

Grier takes issue with editorial cartoon in The Times Leader

In reference to Mr. Majeski’s editorial cartoon on Feb. 15, to imply that I am preventing conservation in Luzerne County is about as accurate as stating I almost stopped county services late last year.

It is a straw-man argument and a weak one at that. Commissioners Greg Skrepenak and Rose Tucker and Mr. Sam Diaz misled the public regarding the need to borrow excess funds. And at this point, Commissioner Maryanne Petrilla apparently has not taken much time to investigate the bond packages.

Mr. Urban, while vocal when the bond ordinances where passed last November, had the opportunity to file a complaint just as I did, and he did not. If he thought that the bonds were such a bad deal, why did he not get more involved? He had the power and ability to do so and chose not to.

In any event, negotiations between all of the involved parties regarding the purchase of Theta land have not been completed, therefore, it is impossible for me to be holding the deal up. The cartoon is not an expression of opinion, it is a logical fallacy.

Tim Grier's complaint against Luzerne County:

● A proposed ordinance that would place requirements on anyone wanting to stage a protest in the city was not on the agenda Thursday night, but council heard a lot of reasons why the proposal should be dropped. Tim Grier: "Just dump it. Let’s all move on peaceably without having to pay for our rights. If the Secret Service wants this ordinance, tell them no.”

● The teachers called off sick for Thursday classes because they were “ill and demoralized by the treatment they are receiving at the hands of the Scranton Diocese,” according to a union press release.

● The state Department of Public Welfare is investigating the deaths of four children in Luzerne County dating to 2006, including two whose families have been identified as clients of the county’s Children and Youth Services agency.

EXCLUSIVE–The Three Trillion Dollar War: Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz and Harvard

Economist Linda Bilmes on the True Cost of the US Invasion and Occupation of Iraq

One week after President Bush rejected charges the war in Iraq has hurt the US economy, a new book puts a conservative estimate of the war’s cost at $3 trillion so far. In their first national broadcast interview upon their book’s publication, Nobel laureate and former chief World Bank economist, Joseph Stiglitz, and co-author Linda Bilmes of Harvard University say the Bush administration has repeatedly low-balled the cost of the war—and even kept a second set of records hidden from the American public.

The most recent assault on our public health care infrastructure is escaping the notice of mainstream media and citizen journalists alike, probably because it is not easily explained. I am referring to a proposed set of arcane regulation changes by the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) which, if enacted, will result in $15 billion dollars in cuts over five years to service providers. The damage that Bush has not been able to inflict through legislation is now being secretly implemented through an administrative back door. Even if Congress rejects the cuts Bush proposed to public health in his most recent budget, changes in regulations will insure that funding is not available for specific programs and activities.

What is REALLY going on with Kosovo's "declaration of independence"???

● Kosovo & Oil: Note that the first nation to unilaterally recognise Kosovo was the US - and this was in order to ensure ALBANIA remains a puppet of the US Corporatocracy.

● NATO's Reign of Terror in Kosovo

● The declaration of the "independence" of Kosovo is, first and foremost, a vast step forward for one of the pet projects of the U.S. in the Balkans, the creation of a "Greater Albania." This fact is so tangible, so concrete that when Martti Ahtisaari, the Special Envoy of the United Nations (UN), in a report he submitted in spring 2007 after two years of negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia had reached a deadlock, recommended the "independence" of Kosovo, he had to qualify this by a special formula, "supervised independence." And against what would the "independence" of Kosovo be "supervised"? Why, the first precondition that Ahtisaari had to propose was to rule out unification with Albania! The mere imposition of this qualification demonstrates, beyond a shadow of doubt, that the real aspiration of the Albanians of Kosovo (and of the U.S.) is the creation of a "Greater Albania" through unification with the present state of Albania. Hence, the "independence" of Kosovo is sham independence.

9/11

● False Flag Prospects, 2008 -- Top Three US Target Cities; The easiest way to carry out a false flag attack is by setting up a military exercise that simulates the very attack you want to carry out. As I'll detail below, this is exactly how government perpetrators in the US and UK handled the 9/11 and 7/7 "terror" attacks, which were in reality government attacks blamed on "terrorists."

● Bush's approval rating of some 18 percent (give or take a gopper) approaches zero. We're talking black holes and singularities here. This historic plunge is traced to numerous hoaxes Bush pulled on the American people: Iraq, the economy, a phony war on 'tehrruh', the GOPs elitist agenda. Bush has gotten away with it because the GOP are trained to believe whatever is repeated three times. Lately, Bush followers have surpassed the high standards of Lewis Carroll, believing "as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Among them is Bush's 'official conspiracy theory' of 911.

● There is one thing that defines everyone over the course of these early years of this new century. That thing is the 9/11 attack. Everyone in government and every field of endeavor the world over is defined by their position on this event. It is not necessary to know the truth. It is only necessary to know the extent of the lies in order to define any leader in any position anywhere in the world. By what they have said and by what they have not said, one can accurately judge who is an enemy of the people's of the world. One can accurately determine who is a tool of the psychopaths or one of them.
